Kenneth had never been more glad to see plain white walls, floors, and ceilings in his life. He greeted the chemical air with fervour, though a part of him was still pumped from the battle they'd just endured, not even a mere ten seconds ago.

He looked around him and found a grinning agent-in-training and an impressed instructor. His eyes flicked left and right, realizing his unit was the first to come out.

"Welcome to the land of living," Micah said, looking way too happy to see him.

"Kenneth, right?"

His eyes narrowed, giving the man in front of him a once-over. "Yes," He answered with a nuclear amount of wariness that made Micah smirk.

"Feels almost like I'm looking at a vet and not a First Division student."

Kenneth's stomach dropped, yet he remained calm on the outside.

Shit, he thought. Did I do too much?
