"Eve, why are you siding with her?"
"If she doesn't support me, who will? I already told you, Dad is not in good health now. No matter how unwilling you are to face them, you need to find some time to go back and see him."
Wyatt Crawford pouted, "Is there anything wrong with his health? Last time he yelled at me and hit me, wasn't he quite energetic?"
"Huh? You got hit?"
Eve Sherman looked at him with some surprise, then felt she might have interrupted their conversation, so she cleared her throat, "I'll get you guys something to drink."
"Dad hitting you was wrong, but this has nothing to do with him being ill now. And you haven't even come out to your family yet; you can go see them anytime. Dad might be harsh with his words, but many times it's because he cares for you."
"His love is too heavy. I can hardly bear it."
Wyatt sniffed, his eyes a bit red, and turned to look out the window.
