"Grandma, I have plans for the future, so you don't have to worry about it. Just focus on taking care of your health. Having you around is better than anything else."
Mrs. Sherman smiled faintly and nodded, "Eve, you're still the most considerate, even Caleb isn't half as thoughtful as you."
Eve Sherman wanted to say more, but then there was a knock on the door.
Stellan Sutton leaned against the doorframe, giving Eve a meaningful look. She understood and stood up, "Grandma, I'm going out to have a word with Mom and Dad."
"Go on then."
Stellan watched Eve head out before approaching the old lady's bedside.
"Grandma."
He greeted respectfully.
Mrs. Sherman smiled faintly, nodding, "Who knows when you'll next call me Grandma again in the future."
"You'll always be my Grandma, as long as you're willing to be."
"Of course I am."
Mrs. Sherman sighed wistfully, "I just feel sorry for Eve. It was all good between you after getting married, but now there's this situation…"
