Eve Sherman looked at the caller ID, her brow furrowed.
Dexter Shaw calling her was certainly not good news.
She originally didn't want to answer, but to avoid him causing trouble for Skye Sherman later, she answered.
"Eve Sherman, what on earth have you done?"
The moment the call was connected, Dexter Shaw's exasperated voice came through the receiver.
Eve Sherman sneered, "I should ask you, what did you do to my dad that scared him so much he dared not speak the truth?"
"That's impossible. I've clearly destroyed all the evidence. Where did you get the surveillance footage?"
Dexter Shaw shouted furiously.
"A wicked person will face justice. Maybe it's fate. I received the evidence and rescued my dad. As for you all, think about what to do next, since you've killed someone. It won't be resolved easily."
