"What do you think it is"? Ede asked, staring at the painting. "Looks like a dog and a lady". Eamon said. Ede sighed. "Yes, a lady and a dog". "This is boring". Eamon groaned. "Why did you have to suggest we pair up". Eamon said, looking around for Canary and Letitia.
"You like Canary"? Ede asked. "Yes she is quite funny, a bit quiet otherwise". Eamon grinned. "It's good that you enjoy hanging out with our big sister". Ede said. "Yes- wait what". Eamon said, almost shouting.
"What do you mean"!? Eamon shouted making others look over at them. "Quiet". Ede said glaring at him. He sighed and pulled Eamon closer and began to whisper . "The walls in Longwood manor have ears and those ears have ears also". Ede said. "We have to be extra careful about the things we are saying and doing". Ede said. "Especially in Longwood manor". "Tell me little brother how many families in the kingdom have our golden eyes"? Ede asked.
"Including ours? I would say three in total". Eamon answered. "And how many in the world would you say"? Ede asked. Eamon raised an eyebrow looking at Ede like he was crazy. But what Eamon didn't know and what most piped is that although Ede came off like he was quiet a bit antisocial, sometimes Ede was a listener. And with his quietness he would go unaware to others.
The friends of Stellan Wolf were a loud obnoxious bunch and sometimes it was a wonder why Stellan was even friends with them. But Ede, being quiet and listening to Eamon blabbering,heard them talking about the mysterious crown prince that had shown up in the royal palace yesterday and earlier that day.
"I-I don't know". Eamon said. "Exactly the walls have ears and I do also". Ede said.
"So that's how you found out we were siblings "Eamon asked. "I overheard mother and father discussing the fact that Canary is our older sister's fact that others cannot find out about until the appointed time". Ede said.
"Why wouldn't they tell us"? Eamon asked. "They're probably just finding out themselves". Ede said. "We have to be very careful how we tread in the capital at least until mother and father make their move". Ede said. "Do you think you can do that"? "Why are you asking me that like I'm immature"? Eamon said annoyed.
"Because you are". Ede said confused as to why Eamon didn't know his own self. "Don't look at me that way". Eamon groaned. "Look at you what way"? Ede said, scanning around for Canary and his mother. "When you want to stay away from trouble it always has a way of finding you". He said placing his eyes on his mother and Canary being surrounded by women.
"Come on". Ede said, grabbing Eamon. "How dare you"! Isolde yelled snatching her arm away from Letitia. "The same way I can say how dare you grabbing someone else's child"! Letitia shouted back.
"Ha someone else's child I don't see her mother anywhere here"! Isolde said. "Lady Fernwood think not that you are in laws with the king you can do what you want". Ede said, stepping in. "The boy speaks up for his mother"? Isolde sneered. "My how you have fallen from grace".
"Fallen"? Letitia said. "Or maybe doing what a wife should do doing her duties can the same be said for house Fernwood"? "Constant maids getting fired and hired left and right". "Every event being turned into a cat fight". Letitia said. "Who has really fallen from grace"?
"With that being said the Whitewoods shall take our leave". Ede said stopping any more words from being exchanged. "What seemed like a lovely event has been ruined once again like all the other Fernwood events". Someone whispered leaving after them.
The event was quiet after they left, leaving some surprised that Isolde wasn't embarrassed. She was quite calm and walked off with some of the ladies. "It seems Letitia still has her spark". Isolde said. "It's a perfect opportunity to send her an invitation for tea". "Why"? "My darling little sister wants me to do something for her". Isolde said, sighing.
"Back in the day Letitia was all about loyalty to her family and the fact that this little scheme that my sister and the king have going on is about her betraying her family is ironic". Isolde laughed. "Though the Fernwood family has their own problems going on I'm happy I'm not royalty". Isolde giggled.

Hello for anyone still reading Canary and the Wolf the syponsis has been updated this is the last update or rewrite that Canary and the Wolf will have.
This upload is a bit short and late might I add will try to start back picking up the uploads twice a week again. Apologies for the no uploads been having a bit of writters block but hopefully it will stay away.
