"A crown prince". Shimon said, sitting down with Agustin and Eddison. "A crown prince from Lyikar, the very place we were ordered to open up a relationship with". Shimon took a sip of his drink and sighed again
"It seems my father is doing everything in his power to stop my coronation". All was quiet in the room with only Shimon talking and he stared back and forth between Eddison and Agustin who were quiet and Eddison was giving Agustin this nasty nasty flare one that Shimon didn't think was possible for someone as monk like like Eddison.
"Okay what is going on with you two why are you staring him down".? Shimon finally said "I don't know why don't you ask Agustin himself"! Eddison said. "He's upset I asked for Canary's hand in marriage". Agustin huffed. "Not only did you ask for her hand in marriage after I told you not to, you asked her in her most vulnerable moment. I mean who does that"? Eddison said.
"Eddy-". "Do not call me Eddy"! Eddison said. "Do you know what you have done"! "No Eddison I don't not know what I have done I love your sister your sister likes me who would drive two people apart that like each other". Agustin said. "Hah like? Are you kidding me you dragged my sister into a fight between father and son". Eddison said. "One never to get involved in".
"The father is a tyrant, are we supposed to just let him run amok sometimes you have got to stop being a pacifist "?! Agustin protested. "Run amok being a pacifist"! Eddison. "Good argument great argument even! But the fact that you involved my sister into this fight of yours is where you've got me wrong"! Eddison said, now standing up.
"Eddy please sit down". Simon said. "You can judge me all you want for not involving myself into this plan between Shimon and the king all you want I have a family to protect but what you won't try to judge me for is wanting to protect my sister"! Eddison said. "You were dead wrong! You are! Not just about the way you went about but they way you involved her you don't like Canary because if you did you wouldn't marry her and stop her from going back to Lyikar and you wouldn't involve her into this silent war between Shimon in the king".
No one could refute what Eddison was saying, not even Agustin, who wanted to argue plenty about it. Shimon who was the one in the tug of war, knew how Eddison felt. He himself felt bad for involving Tearina into this struggle. He knew exactly how Eddison felt and didn't shame him for being neutral.
"How about you two separate". Shimon said. "Eddison go home I know you're under a lot of stress due to your baby and the situation going on with Canary". Eddison glared at Agustin one last time and left the room.
Agustin chuckled and poured himself a drink and took a big gulp of it. "You gotta admit Eddison is right". Shimon said. "And you don't love or like for that fact Canary that much". "What"?! Agustin said. "What do you know"! "I know that that fire made you scared that you would lose Canary". Shimon said. "But you weren't scared that you would lose her because you love her". "No not because you love her but because she has something that will help us in this little battle of ours with the king". Simon said, patting Agustin on the back.
"You don't know anything". Agustin said. "I do like her". Shimon chuckled and stared at Agustin in disbelief almost in disgust. "When are you going to grow up, Agustin". Simon said. "You half believe that statement yourself". "Sure you like that girl you fool yourself into believing that your like goes beyond friends". Shimon said getting up and going to the door.
"I'm leaving, we shall join and have another discussion again later". Simon said leaving Agustin alone with his thoughts. Even those words of Shimon had Agustin thinking. Did he really like Canary beyond the thought of friends or was he really just scared of losing what she brought to the table.
Agustin didn't know. But what he would soon come to know is that his thought of him being the only person to marry Canary was all that it was a thought.
