Night — around nine o'clock.
Inside Yukino Yukinoshita's apartment.
The apartment was quiet except for the faint hum of the refrigerator and the distant sound of traffic outside. The soft yellow lights in the living room created a calm atmosphere, reflecting off the neat furniture and spotless floor.
Yukino Yukinoshita sat down on the sofa with a controlled sigh, finally releasing the hand that had been pushing away her overly affectionate older sister.
She crossed her legs elegantly, brushed a strand of her dark hair behind her ear, and fixed Haruno with a calm but slightly suspicious gaze.
"So," Yukino said in a composed voice, "what exactly made you come to my apartment so late at night?"
Across from her, Yukinoshita Haruno blinked innocently.
"Eh? What kind of question is that?"
She sat down beside Yukino with a cheerful bounce, her graceful figure swaying slightly as she leaned closer. Compared to Yukino's cool and reserved elegance, Haruno's charm was warm, confident, and slightly mischievous.
"Can't a loving older sister visit her adorable little sister once in a while?"
She clasped her hands together dramatically and leaned forward with sparkling eyes.
"I missed you, Yukino~"
Yukino stared at her silently.
Three seconds passed, as she said in her usual tone,
"…I don't believe that."
"Eh? So cold!"
Haruno clutched her chest dramatically as if she had been stabbed.
"You're hurting your poor Onee-chan feelings!"
Then she suddenly leaned back against the sofa, stretching her arms slightly as her fitted blouse rose just enough to reveal her slim waist.
"Besides," Haruno continued, sighing pitifully, "I came here thinking we could have dinner together." She placed a hand on her stomach. "But you weren't even home…"
Her expression turned into a sad expression, "nd now I'm starving."
As if tright on cue—
Grrrrrr…!
Her stomach growled loudly.
The sound echoed in the quiet living room.
Yukino closed her eyes slowly trying to stop herself from scolding her sister, "…You came here without eating?"
Haruno smiled sheepishly. "Well… I thought you would cook."
"…Unbelievable."
With a helpless sigh, Yukino stood up from the sofa.
"Wait here."
As she began to walked toward the kitchen.
"I'll make something for you."
Haruno immediately brightened at her cute little sister's words, "Yay!"
As she waved energetically. "Thank you, Yukino-chan!"
The moment Yukino disappeared into the kitchen, however—Haruno's cheerful expression slowly faded.
Her eyes narrowed slightly as she leaned back on the sofa.
"…Dison Apartment."
She murmured to herself with an unreadable expression.
Earlier that evening, when she arrived at Yukino's apartment and didn't find her at home, Haruno had become curious.
So she made a few calls.
With the Yukinoshita family's connections, finding someone's general movements in the city was not particularly difficult.
And what she learned had been… interesting.
"Yukino went to Dison Apartment in the afternoon… and only returned in the evening....hmm"
Dison Apartment.
It was a luxurious apartment complex.
More importantly—
It was where Gojo Satoru lived.
Haruno tapped her chin thoughtfully.
"What exactly were you doing there, Yukino?"
Then suddenly—
Her eyes widened slightly.
"…Don't tell me she is dating someone?"
The idea flashed through her mind.
Before she immediately shook her head.
"No, impossible."
Knowing Yukino's personality, Haruno was far more willing to believe Yukino would remain single forever than secretly start a relationship!
Still…Her lips curved slightly.
"Interesting."
She stood up with the usual smile on her face and began walking towards the Kitchen.
.....
Inside the Kitchen,
Yukino stood in front of the cutting board with perfect posture, slicing chives with quick and precise movements.
Her knife skills were efficient and elegant.
Haruno leaned against the doorway, watching her quietly.
"Yukino."
"Yes?"
"You're in a good mood today."
Yukino paused slightly, before replying. "…I'm always in a good mood."
"Really?"
Haruno smiled knowingly which Yukino ignored and continued cooking.
The smell of frying garlic and eggs soon filled the kitchen.
Haruno inhaled deeply.
"Wow… it smells amazing."
"…Of course it does."
"Yukino, marry me."
"No."
Nothing else unusual happened that night.
.....
Next day,
Wednesday-Morning,
Outside Gojo Satoru's apartment.
A small electric scooter buzzed down the street.
The driver was surprisingly Umaru Gojo and she looked extremely unhappy.
Her cheeks were puffed slightly as she glared at the road ahead.
"So explain something to me," Umaru said through clenched teeth. "Why am I the one driving this stupid scooter, you stinky Onii-chan?!"
Behind her sat Gojo Satoru.
He looked half-dead, his white hair was messy, his posture slouched, and his head occasionally bobbed forward as if he might fall asleep at any moment.
Behind him sat Benio Adashino.
Yes, Umaru was responsible for driving the two person to the school....
Unlike Gojo's laziness and Umaru's irritation, Benio sat perfectly straight as her hands held the seat tightly. Her face looked slightly pale.
"…I don't like this vehicle," Benio muttered quietly.
Gojo yawned loudly, as he replied with half closed eyes, "Your brother had raised you for so many years, It's only natural for you to repay me!"
Umaru's eye twitched. "…Repay you?"
She clenched the handle tightly, controlling herself—she was this close to forgetting about that she was driving to give her stinky brother a piece of her mind!
"Yes." Gojo nodded seriously.
"Filial duty! What do you mean you raised me?!"
He waved a tired hand. "Details~ Details~."
"You didn't even feed me half the time!"
"That's character development."
"…I hate you."
Gojo sighed. "I stayed up all night."
"Doing what?"
"Playing games with Nakano Nino and Kitagawa Marin."
"…Of course you did."
"And drinking coffee."
"Of course you did."
"So I couldn't sleep."
"…Obviously."
As for why he didn't use the [Reversal Technique] to get rid of his sleepiness and simple [Teleport] them all to the school...well, the reason was..... He simply didn't feel like it.....
Umaru gripped the handlebar tighter, her fist trembled.
She really wanted to punch him.
Unfortunately—
Her hands were currently steering the scooter.
"Hold on!"
Umaru suddenly shouted to herself in delight!
"There's a bump ahead! Benio hold on tightly"
"Ahhhh!"
Benio cried out in horror, shrieking slightly as the scooter began to bounced like a angry horse!
...
Ten minutes later—
They arrived safely at Sobu High School.
As soon as the scooter entered campus, students began staring. Whispers spread quickly like a wild fire.
"Isn't that Gojo-sensei?"
"Why is he riding a scooter?"
"Wait…that girl driving is Umaru Gojo!"
"And who's the girl behind him?"
Benio looked away awkwardly, she could hear all of them!
While, Umaru slowed down the scooter—even she was regretting the decision she made earlier!
"Onii-chan" she asked slowly, "where should I park?"
Gojo lazily pointed at the specific place. "Under that big tree."
Umaru followed his finger. Then her eyelid twitched.
"…Onii-chan."
"Yes?"
"That's the principal's parking spot." Umaru said awkwardly.
"Oh." Gojo shrugged, "It's fine."
"How?"
"He knows me."
"…That doesn't help."
Still—She drove there and stopped just under the tree.
"Alright," Umaru said flatly, before she turned her head and looked at Gojo with a saler-like-smile "That'll be ten thousand yen. Thank you for using Umaru Transportation."
"Ten thousand yen my foot."
Benio stepped off first. Then Gojo stepped down while complaining about his sister getting into her rebellious stage!
As he casually grabbed the scooter key.
"Hey!" Umaru protested.
Gojo ignored her as he shoved the key into his pocket.
"See you later."
Then he walked away stylishly. Which look utterly ridiculous to them!
Umaru and Benio stared at his back.
"…Your brother is unbelievable," Benio said quietly.
Umaru sighed. "You have no idea."
.....
Meanwhile.
Gojo walked across campus while yawning.
"Man… I really need sleep."
Then—
Thump!
A soft body suddenly bumped into him.
"Oh! I'm sorry!"
A girl's voice quickly apologized.
"I was looking at my phone and didn't see—"
Gojo blinked. Then smiled, "Oh?"
Isn't she Ebina Hina—The famous fujoshi of Sobu High School.
"Yo, Hina."
"Eh—?!"
Ebina froze as she heard the familiar voice. She slowly looked up.
As she show Gojo was looking down at her with a small smile on his handsome face.
"G-Gojo-sensei?!" Her face turned bright red. As she find herself talking to the person she was thinking about whole day and night.
Gojo leaned down and pinched her soft cheek lightly. "Well, well. Hina is cute again today."
"Waaah!" Ebina squeaked, making a voice of a fangirl meeting her idol.
Gojo laughed and released her cheek.
"Relax, relax."
Then he gently patted her head.
"Were you looking for Umaru?"
Ebina nodded shyly, as she lied without hesitation."Yes…"
"She's over there." Gojo pointed towards the direction with an amused smile.
Ebina lowered her head bashfully, her face warming up just from staying closed to him. "Okay…"
"Alright then. I'm going to find somewhere to nap." Gojo said as he put both his hands inside his pocket.
"B-bye, Gojo-sensei…"
"Bye."
Gojo replied as he walked away lazily.
Meanwhile—
Ebina remained standing in place as if she had no intention of meeting her friend Umaru. She touched the cheek Gojo had pinched. Her face turned redder, warmer.
"He praised me again…" She whispered happily. Like a young girl in love. "He said I'm cute again…"
A goofy smile spread across her face.
"Hehe…"
