Chapter 321 - Chapter 321: Rita the Peeping Maid

When Kallen heard the words "Kallen Fantasy," she really did feel a little unable to keep a straight face.

Using her own name as the title of a game sounded somewhat embarrassing.

She had been quite interested before, but now, she suddenly did not really want to play it anymore.

She did not know what to say about Otto either. After all, back then, she had been dead. Otto using something like this as a memorial to her was not unreasonable.

"Change the name," Kallen said.

Otto nodded and suggested, "Valkyrie War Against the Demon Fox?"

Kallen: "?"

Hearing that strange title, Kallen's face filled with question marks. Just how much did he dislike Yae Sakura? Before, he had only put her in as a boss, but now he was not even pretending anymore.

She had not expected Otto to hold such a huge grudge against Yae Sakura.

"Forget it. Keep the original one. That one sounds far too strange," Kallen said helplessly.

Otto felt a little regretful. After all, he thought the name he had just come up with was quite good. Since Kallen had returned, there was no longer any need to use Kallen Fantasy to remember her. He could use an even more direct name instead.

"Otto, since things have come to this, tell me about everything that happened during those past years." Kallen's expression turned serious.

"Where should I begin...?"

Otto did not hide anything from her. Five hundred years was far too long. If he explained everything bit by bit, it would take a very long time.

"What was Vera's ending?" Kallen knew that as well, so she asked softly.

"Don't worry. I never used Vera. Her life was peaceful and smooth, and she lived until the end of her natural lifespan. I gave her the name she liked most: Otto Vera," Otto said, his voice carrying a faint trace of nostalgia.

Vera was a child he and Kallen had rescued and adopted from some ruins. Vera could be said to have been Otto's last bit of gentleness. When Vera passed away, the Otto of the past could be said to have died with her. His past was buried underground, and all that remained was his obsession with resurrecting Kallen.

Speaking of that child Vera, she had been rather special. If anyone spoke ill of him, Otto himself would not even react, but Vera would be the first one unwilling to accept it.

To Otto, Kallen was the faith of his entire life.

And to Vera, Otto was also the faith of her entire life.

"That's good." Kallen nodded gently.

Hearing Vera's ending, she felt deeply relieved. Otto had taken very good care of Vera, and that poor child had also lived a happy life.

...

Not wanting to be a third wheel, Koji wandered aimlessly around Schicksal. With the favor he had done for Otto, there was basically nowhere in Schicksal he was not allowed to go.

"Hehe... Lady Durandal..."

When he passed by the training room, he saw a maid standing there. She was looking into the training room through the window, letting out silly giggles from time to time. She looked like some kind of perverted woman.

"Rita, what are you doing?"

Koji casually took a picture, then walked up beside Rita, startling her.

"So it is you, Mr. Koji." Rita, who had been completely focused, was genuinely frightened by Koji.

"As an S-rank Valkyrie, this is all the vigilance you have? You have grown far too careless," Koji lectured her with a serious face.

The corners of Rita's mouth twitched. Who would have nothing better to do than cause trouble in Schicksal? She was indeed an S-rank Valkyrie, but she was still human. Of course she needed her own private time.

Koji looked into the training room. Durandal was working up a sweat. She was wearing tight training clothes that perfectly showed off her flawless figure. Especially when sweat slid down her neck, her red lips shone with a faintly tempting luster.

No wonder Rita was giggling like that. It really was quite a sight. Durandal's figure was exceptionally perfect.

"Rita, you wouldn't want Durandal to find out that you were peeping, would you?" Koji used the classic line.

"Mr. Koji, that is a line from a Far Eastern movie, isn't it? Please calm down," Rita said, sweating.

Koji even showed her the photo he had taken of her perverted side. He had actually left evidence behind. Truly despicable.

"Fine."

Rita agreed without even thinking about it. After all, as a maid, this was something she often did anyway.

After taking one last reluctant look at Durandal's world-class beauty, Rita reluctantly brought Koji to the cafeteria.

...

"Not bad. You maids really are good at cooking."

After Koji finished eating, he wiped the corner of his mouth with a napkin, extremely satisfied.

"Oh? Does Mr. Koji know other maids?" Rita became somewhat interested.

She could call herself the best maid in Schicksal.

"I met one in another world. Her name is Noelle, the maid of the Knights of Favonius. As long as you call her name, Noelle will come before you and offer help," Koji said with a nod.

"That is far too diligent."

On this point, Rita absolutely felt inferior.

Appearing to help the moment someone called her name was simply way too absurd. Would she not get tired?

"As a member of the Knights, she should not have to do that sort of thing, right?" Rita said.

Although Rita was also a maid, she only served a select few people. Besides, for her, being a maid was also a kind of mission identity.

"The Knights' Grand Master is helpless about it too. Noelle's strength is already enough for her to receive a proper title, but her personality is just too kind," Koji said.

Rita roughly understood.

The Knights were warriors, not babysitters. What they needed to deal with were enemies and public order. Where would they find spare energy to do other things?

"Rita, you must have secretly kept a lot of photos of Theresa and Durandal, right?" Koji said teasingly.

Rita: "Well..."

There were indeed a lot. So many that even she herself could not remember the exact number. They were all photographs she treasured.

Among those photos, most of them were of their younger, little-girl forms. Lady Durandal had been far too adorable as a child, and Lady Theresa, who would never grow up, was equally adorable.

"What photos?"

Durandal had a coat draped over her shoulders and was holding a towel as she wiped her hair. After finishing her training and washing up, her whole body felt much more comfortable.

"Nothing, Lady Durandal. What would you like to eat?" Rita hurriedly said.

If Durandal found out about that sort of thing, she would definitely be disgusted with her. Rita absolutely did not want that.

Durandal did not think too much about it either.

"The same as usual is fine. Sorry to trouble you, Rita."

"Of course. No need to be polite."

Rita walked into the kitchen and began preparing food for her beloved Lady Durandal.

"You really are hardworking. Even though you are already Schicksal's strongest Valkyrie," Koji said with a smile.

"I do not care about that kind of title. I need to maintain the habit of training. Although lying around doing nothing is comfortable, it affects combat strength," Durandal said.

She basically trained every day. Even if it was only the most basic kind of exercise, it was still better than slacking off.
