Everyone fell silent. In that moment, they finally understood what Stormbreaker truly meant to Thor.
He had risked everything, even his life, in a desperate gamble for a chance to kill Thanos.
By then, he had nothing left to lose. To slay Thanos, he would have sacrificed even his own life without hesitation.
Thor's expression remained grim and resolute. He stood by his actions in the Sacred Timeline. For revenge, nothing was too costly. If his life could buy Thanos's, he would gladly make that trade.
*Bro Thor, it's such a pity that axe missed. Otherwise, none of this might have happened.*
*But when Tony Stark saw Little Spider turn to dust in his arms, his heart must have shattered. Everyone knows Morgan is Tony's biological daughter—his only son could only be Peter Parker.*
Still, I have to rant about Wakanda's setup. I don't know how they developed such a super-advanced nation with just vibranium—it's just absurd. And Atlantis seems to have developed with vibranium too, right? A black man and an Native American with ridiculously advanced technology, yet they still fight like cavemen.
Ugh, it's just so fitting for the white man's stereotype.
The main theme is "no brains." I really don't want to say more!
You're both kings of Atlantis! Look at Aquaman next door, and then look at you. How embarrassing!
Wakanda, Atlantis, and the second Iron Man—what a politically correct garbage lineup! It's an eyesore, a bunch of brain-dead morons!
The group saw Lin Feng's furious rant and exchanged bewildered glances.
Lin Feng often complained in his diary, but such a violent outburst was extremely rare.
The jokes and references were packed with information, much of which they didn't understand.
Thor's expression grew solemn. He finally addressed the incident where his axe missed its mark, but what happened next?
Tony Stark wasn't doing much better. Lin Feng had mentioned before that Little Spider would die in his arms, but now he specified that the boy would turn to dust in his embrace.
His heart skipped a beat. Even though he didn't know Peter Parker yet, he already felt an inexplicable connection to him.
Given that Lin Feng had called Peter his "son," it was clear that the Tony Stark of the Sacred Timeline had placed great hopes in him. This was evident in the earlier scene where Peter helped him battle the Black Order and joined him on the expedition to Titan.
To witness this young boy die before his eyes would truly feel like a parent burying their child.
"Tony, this means the dream you and Pepper talked about in the video might not have been a dream at all. You really do have a cute daughter named Morgan," Black Widow Natasha teased. "I never thought a playboy like you would ever settle down. It's hard to imagine."
"What's so hard to imagine? I've always been a good man!" Tony Stark declared without hesitation.
Though he desperately wanted to see what his daughter would look like, it was clear that wouldn't happen here. In fact, due to the butterfly effect, even if he did have a daughter in the future, she might not be Little Morgan at all—that was the price of knowing the future.
"But you've got three potential successors here, Tony," Bruce Banner teased. "Which one do you think is best? Your godson, your biological daughter, or the second-generation Iron Man..."
The question stumped Tony Stark. All three were clearly close to him: one his biological daughter, another he had raised like a son, and the third, described as the second-generation Iron Man, must have some connection to him.
But Lin Feng had previously mentioned that this second-generation Iron Man, Ironheart, was a black girl who performed rather poorly, much to Lin Feng's disappointment.
Thinking about it, his own daughter and son seemed like the better options after all.
"Is that the main point?" Hawkeye Barton grumbled. "The main point is that Atlantis actually exists, and it's run by Native Americans? Both of them built ancient and powerful civilizations with vibranium. They're nothing like what we imagined."
Everyone nodded. The legend of Atlantis had always been popular in Europe and America, but no one expected it to be real. Even more absurd was the fact that it was a group of Native Americans.
So, does that mean white people are the ones with the most backward technology?
"Is Aquaman next door also from Atlantis?" Hill suddenly remembered. "The muscular white guy with the trident? I remember seeing him in that DC Universe video, fighting Superman and Darkseid."
So, his true identity was actually the King of Atlantis?
How could it be so different?
Although both were from Atlantis, one civilization was clearly white, while the other was Native American.
Everyone, especially the white people, suddenly felt that this world was truly full of "shallow ponds and too many turtles"—full of "big shots" everywhere.
Wakanda represents Black civilization, Atlantis the Native Americans, and Kamar-Taj the East Asians. Yet none of these powers have shown any desire to stop the white race's rampant global expansion and enslavement of their own kind.
What's more fortunate is that these civilizations haven't used their power to enslave the white race in return.
They used to think white people were the chosen ones, but now it seems they just got incredibly lucky.
"How could a civilization develop using vibranium?" Bruce Banner asked. "While human civilization is said to have originated with the use of bronze, the difficulty of refining vibranium is worlds apart from bronze. Besides, developing a technological tree isn't something you can do by hiding in a mountain hollow and pretending to practice magic!"
No one could figure it out either, but since Lin Feng said so, it was probably true.
As for Lin Feng's tirade against white supremacy, no one could refute it—because it was the reality.
Especially for Nick Fury, a Black man who had risen to such heights, the difficulties he must have faced were unimaginable.
He could most deeply empathize with Lin Feng's complaints. Throughout his journey, Lin Feng had endured so much suppression and assassination attempts. Many people felt that as a yellow-skinned Asian, and specifically of Chinese descent, he had already reached his limit once he achieved a certain level of success.
To continue climbing higher would be to enter forbidden territory, and many white people would find it deeply uncomfortable.
It was just like when he first took over as director of S.H.I.E.L.D. from Alexander Pierce; countless people had questioned him and rolled their eyes.
In contrast, Tony Stark's rise had been much smoother. While Howard Stark had certainly laid a strong foundation, the most crucial factor was that Tony was a genuine white man.
That mattered!
We hadn't reached the later era of widespread chaos yet. Even if we did, the old white men would still hold the core power and resources. Other ethnic groups would stand no chance of climbing the ladder.
Of course, Lin Feng was an exception. His personal strength was so overwhelming that if there was no door, he would simply blast his way through.
Facing such a formidable figure, you'd consider it a stroke of luck if he even agreed to play games with you.
Otherwise, if he suddenly decided to stop eating beef one day, things could get complicated.
A video appeared below the diary entry. When everyone clicked it, the first thing that caught their eye was a colossal black panther statue, and a highly advanced nation rising from the water.
The leader was none other than T'Challa, the Black Panther they'd seen before.
They all had a rough idea of who he was. Although he'd studied in the US, he'd been practically invisible there.
The son of some African tribal chief, he remained obscure until they stumbled upon Lin Feng's diary, which mentioned the Black Panther T'Challa. Only then did they dig deeper.
On the surface, the prince of Wakanda, an African nation, appeared to be an ordinary student. While his grades were good, nothing about him stood out.
He seemed nothing like the Black Panther described in Lin Feng's diary.
Moreover, Wakanda's advanced state shocked everyone.
*An African city this advanced?*
As everyone knew, the world's dominant civilizations were the Christian West and the Confucian East.
Beyond these two regions, the state of civilization was, to put it mildly, a mixed bag.
Even settling for Southeast Asia or South America, it would be unthinkable for a Black nation to be technologically advanced.
This is precisely why Black people are so widely discriminated against in the world. White people, needless to say, represent the most prosperous and powerful civilization on Earth, while East Asians are represented by the region of East Asia.
But Black people have no nation to speak of. In fact, most Black countries are merely collections of tribes that were once united by colonial powers and forced into a semblance of nationhood.
There isn't even a single decent city in Black regions.
This might seem a bit abstract.
Unlike the brief glimpse of Wakanda in the previous zombie-infested Marvel universe, this time it's clear:
