If you really think about it, this is a gathering of true powerhouses. In the comic universe, Celestial-level beings are nothing special; they're just there to look cool in the movies.
Moreover, Marvel rarely allows these characters to reach Celestial-level, unless they turn into semi-villains like Scarlet Witch and Wanda.
This is exactly what worries Lin Feng the most.
The uncertainty surrounding Thanos's snap is too great.
Unbeknownst to him, his rant sent shockwaves through the group.
Sensing the Diary's update, everyone logged in and saw Lin Feng's palpable anxiety.
In truth, they were all just as anxious. Thanos was about to unleash his claws next year, yet the path forward remained unclear. They were all just taking it one step at a time, with no real solutions in sight.
"The Celestials... Lin Feng has mentioned them more than once. Does he mean someone is going to emerge from within the Earth? And that the Earth will explode?" Hawkeye Barton voiced this idea, his voice catching in his throat. He gasped.
Even Hawkeye Barton and the others were utterly terrified.
If Lin Feng's account were true, a great terror was about to erupt explosively from the Earth's core.
What kind of entity could that be?
"So, the Earth's inexplicable emergence of life wasn't a natural occurrence, but rather the Celestials' way of cultivating their own kind?" Bruce Banner asked, his worldview shattered.
The very foundation of his understanding was crumbling.
So, the origin of all life on Earth was actually the Celestials' doing?
"And the birth of these Celestials is meant to destroy the entire Earth, or perhaps devour its countless lives as food? Could they be some kind of evil gods?" Tony Stark mused. "Does that mean Thanos's snap with the Infinity Gauntlet actually saved the Earth?"
The group nodded. Based on Lin Feng's explanation, it seemed that was the case.
This only made things more complicated. So, Thanos had unintentionally become Earth's savior?
Even if it wasn't intentional.
So, should they still oppose Thanos?
"We can't abandon our efforts just because of what Lin Feng said," Nick Fury stated. "Thanos remains our greatest enemy, his malice towards Earth is beyond doubt. Our best course of action is to defeat him, and then we'll find our own way to deal with the emergence of the Celestials!"
They couldn't place their hope in Thanos. To him, Earth was just an insignificant, backwater planet. But to them, it was their home.
They had no choice.
Another terrifying and unimaginable race.
These were all things they could only learn by reading Lin Feng's Diary.
Without the Diary, they might never have known about the Celestials or the Time Variance Authority in their entire lives.
But the more they learned, the more they feared.
Ignorance would have been less terrifying—at worst, they would have simply faced death.

The group stared at the rambling journal entry, feeling a mix of helplessness and amusement. Captain America Rogers, in particular, looked slightly embarrassed. He glanced at them and asked, "Is my costume really that bad?"
"Most of the time it's fine, but sometimes it's just... eye-watering!" Black Widow Natasha quipped.
The others burst into laughter.
Only Thor, the God of Thunder, didn't laugh. He had noticed a passage in Lin Feng's diary mentioning that he had originally had a chance to defeat Thanos, but his axe had missed its mark.
*What does that mean?*

*What axe? The Stormbreaker from the video?*
*How could it have missed?*
"How could I have missed?" Thor protested, his voice filled with frustration. "I could have taken him down!"
"Thor, don't beat yourself up too much. As Doctor Strange said, there was never a guaranteed solution. If there was one, it was destined by fate and the timeline. Otherwise, we wouldn't have had even that slim chance of victory!" Tony Stark said.
Everyone tried to comfort Thor, the God of Thunder, but he still felt terrible. After all, he *had* had a chance.
Captain America's suit back then was so much cooler than this one! He was at his absolute coolest when he saved Vision!
As Lin Feng's comment popped up, a video appeared beneath the text.
The video opened in a large house where Wanda and Vision, now in human form, were living together.
Though Vision had taken on a human appearance, everyone recognized his face instantly.
For Wanda, it was unforgettable.
Seeing them living together, didn't that perfectly match what Lin Feng had written in his diary? Had this robot truly become her future husband?
Even though he could now appear human, he was still fundamentally a machine.
Vision vaguely sensed something. The Mind Stone on his forehead flickered faintly. He asked Wanda to try sensing it, but after a long while, she couldn't detect anything.
Only Vision, through his connection to the Infinity Stones, could vaguely sense something.
The scene shifted to the two of them waiting for their departing shuttle, finally pouring out their hearts and confessing long-suppressed feelings.
More accurately, it was Vision's own feelings. As an artificial being, he doubted he could truly make Wanda happy. But now, he felt it was time to give their relationship some closure.
Their conversation drew everyone's attention, especially when Vision mentioned a promise he'd made to Stark.

"How many mines from that Civil War are still left un-defused?" Black Widow Natasha asked. "Clearly, this young woman is on Captain America's side, and this Vision is on Tony's. They're in love but can't be together. You two have caused quite the mess!"
Tony Stark and Captain America Rogers exchanged glances, both looking somewhat awkward. It was clear Natasha was right—the whole situation stemmed from them.
Even now, the tension lingered. The problem hadn't been resolved, merely postponed.
After all, one side involved Tony Stark's deceased parents, while the other involved Captain America Rogers' last remaining old friend in this world.
It was an impossible knot to untangle.
"At least we've confirmed another crucial detail: the Civil War likely happened over two years ago. That should help us piece together many things," Nick Fury said.
Everyone thought about it and realized it was true. Based on Tony Stark's earlier words, they could roughly determine that the current time was about six years after the Battle of New York. This meant the video was likely from between 2017 and 2018.
With this timeframe in mind, they could work backward and deduce that the Avengers' Civil War probably occurred between 2015 and 2016.
However, just as the two were gazing lovingly at each other, they saw news footage of Ebony Maw's arrival on Earth.
Without a doubt, everyone immediately recalled the earlier video of Ebony Maw's descent, his capture of Doctor Strange, and Iron Man and Spider-Man's reckless pursuit.
This must have been the time when it happened.
The news also reported that Tony Stark had gone missing.
"Who are they?" Wanda asked, her voice trembling with shock and a hint of tears, as she watched the scene.
Vision pondered for a moment, then said, "This is the Mind Stone's warning to me!"
He silently finished reading the news, knowing it was time to meet Stark. Stark needed him.
He couldn't abandon the fate of the world for personal matters. He silently kissed Wanda's hand and said, "I have to go!"
"No, Vision!" Wanda pleaded, not just because she didn't want him to leave, but because she feared for his safety going alone. "If all this is true, you shouldn't go by yourself!"
"Wanda, I love you!"
Vision began, but before he could finish, a long spear pierced through him.
Everyone was startled by the sudden attack.
*Did they really have to catch us completely off guard?*
The spear was terrifying. Vision's body, made of vibranium and advanced materials provided by Ultron, was supposed to represent the pinnacle of Earth's technology.
Yet now it had been easily pierced through.
