The moment they arrived at Fox Beast City, the three elders immediately looked toward the city gate with expectant expressions.
They had spent the entire journey boasting about how prosperous Fox Beast City was and how warmly its people would welcome the little prince. They had even claimed that everyone had been eagerly waiting for their arrival.
However, when they finally reached the gate, the reality before them was completely different.
There was not a single person waiting for them. Not only that, but the city gate was firmly closed!
The three elders stood there in stunned silence. For a moment, they wondered whether they had arrived at the wrong place.
But no, this was undoubtedly Fox Beast City!
Elder Luo's face immediately darkened. Elder Hu's beard trembled with anger, while Elder Shen's expression became so ugly that he looked as though he wanted to tear someone apart.
What was going on?
Had these people forgotten all their manners?
