Chapter 353 - Chapter 353: Hashirama Suspicion Revisited, an Enemy He Cannot Face!

Roxie Vale couldn't help but draw a parallel to the predecessors from her past life.

Back then, they had stepped forward from among the people when all hope for the future had dried up, then gradually led the nation back to rise through one step after another.

Along the way, there were countless setbacks, countless dilemmas, countless sacrifices…

Did they know that what they were doing could make the future better? Could create the future they wanted?

No!

They didn't!

And yet they pressed on anyway, sacrifices be damned, all for the sake of their country.

It was precisely because of their existence that countless rotten, decadent people slowly awakened, joining them in the effort to change this nation.

The parallel-world Uchiha Madara and Hashirama had nearly made enemies of every ninja and noble to create the world in their hearts — but there would always be those who understood their vision, understood what they were trying to do and what a meaningful thing it was for this ninja world and its people.

They would follow in Madara's and Hashirama's footsteps, joining them in changing this wrong world.

Though what Roxie found most relatable was the new leaf village protective headband design that the parallel-world Uchiha Madara had come up with.

Surely it wasn't the one she was thinking of, right?

If it really were, that would be too interesting.

Then again, probably not.

After all, the ninja world had no factories — naturally there was no concept of workers either.

There was no reason for Madara to look at merchants, look at blacksmiths, look at farmers and suddenly think of that design.

It couldn't possibly be from thinking about blacksmiths and farmers, right? What about the merchants?

Why not put a gold coin on it too?

**Ninth Prince of Great Qin:** "Is it possible that book contains a similar design?"

**Ninth Prince of Great Qin:** "After all, none of us have actually read that book."

Ying Zi'nian raised this question.

**Ninth Prince of Great Qin:** "Regardless, whether it's that book or Hashirama's transformation."

**Ninth Prince of Great Qin:** "Both do raise legitimate suspicions about his identity."

**Ninth Prince of Great Qin:** "But besides transmigration, there are other possibilities."

There were so many novels in her past life, with all manner of ideas and imaginative collisions giving rise to countless brilliant schools of thought.

Transmigration was just one possibility.

**Child of Nature:** "Hashirama's dream is a dream born from the soul of a transmigrator."

**Child of Nature:** "That's one possibility."

**Child of Nature:** "In terms of soul strength, if the transmigrator crossed over without carrying any rule-level items and it was pure coincidence, his soul strength wouldn't be a match for Hashirama's."

There were also cases where transmigrators had their memories devoured in the process — it happened, just with far fewer victims.

**Ordinary Group Leader:** "Or, this Hashirama obtained something, like knowledge from another world or the like."

**Ordinary Group Leader:** "It's like receiving some kind of golden finger, but the soul remains his own."

**Ordinary Group Leader:** "A golden finger's power certainly wouldn't be too overwhelming — otherwise Hashirama wouldn't be acting like this."

A local character suddenly undergoing such a dramatic change had to be the influence of the world's narrative framework.

Given how the parallel-world Hashirama was behaving, if it were a system or some other rule-level item, he wouldn't have changed in this way.

**Shijo:** "There's another possibility."

**Richest Man:** "???"

Wasn't this the kind of question for transmigrators like Baixuan and Roxie?

Why did this protagonist from a slice-of-life world have yet another theory?

Then again, thinking about it — this girl was a novel writer.

Different style, sure, but novels were novels. They couldn't be all that different.

**Shijo:** "Maybe he really is a transmigrator, just not carrying any rule-level items — the chat group didn't bother recruiting him."

Just like the transmigrators in her world!

**Child of Nature:** ".…."**

**Ordinary Group Leader:** "I thought it was going to be something…"

**Ninth Prince of Great Qin:** "This…"

Utaha's one-line had directly silenced Baixuan and the others.

It wasn't without possibility — but if that were truly the case, the chat group wouldn't bother concealing it. They could just say the other person was a transmigrator, just one without rule-level items, so no quest was formed. Simple.

**Ordinary Group Leader:** "@Uchiha Dance King, what are you planning to do next?"

**Ordinary Group Leader:** "Will you reveal yourself proactively?"

Roxie opted to change the subject in the face of Utaha's silence.

**Uchiha Dance King:** "At the appropriate time, I'll appear."

**Uchiha Dance King:** "The world they described is dreamy, beautiful — but too虚幻."

Madara believed they could create a peaceful world, a beautiful world — but absolutely not an equal world.

Equality. Two simple words, but this was nearly an impossible thing.

Once something existed on a higher and lower level, comparisons would inevitably follow.

They could have everyone cultivate chakra, everyone learn ninjutsu, even have everyone possess bloodline limits.

But each person's talent was different.

Speed of chakra cultivation, chakra reserves, time needed to learn ninjutsu… how could any of that be equal?

It was the same even with bloodline limits.

Take Uchiha Madara, Uchiha Sasuke, Uchiha Itachi, Uchiha Shisui — were they as talented as every other Uchiha?

Take Hashirama, Tobirama — were they as talented as every other Senju?

Or even Hiruzen Sarutobi — was he as talented as everyone else in his clan?

A world of relative equality? Possible. A world of absolute equality? Utterly impossible.

**Uchiha Dance King:** "Even unifying things wouldn't be easy for them."

**Uchiha Dance King:** "Soon, I will appear in the ninja world as an enemy — let them witness what crushing, overwhelming force looks like."

**Uchiha Dance King:** "Then I'll give them a period of time to develop. If by then they still can't defeat me, I'll destroy this world."

**Ninth Prince of Great Qin:** "Civil war plus an external enemy?"

**Ninth Prince of Great Qin:** "It is indeed a method to force the ninja world to unite passively."

**Ninth Prince of Great Qin:** "When they witness a might beyond their imagination, a force that can defeat even Hashirama and Uchiha Madara — the strongest in the ninja world — they'll grow tense."

**Ninth Prince of Great Qin:** "And when this mighty one holds hostility toward the ninja world, that's when things become most troublesome."

**Ninth Prince of Great Qin:** "To defeat such an enemy, they'll have no choice but to band together."

Just like Uchiha Madara in the original Naruto storyline, facing the entire ninja world alone.

Except this time they'd be facing an enemy far, far stronger — several times stronger than the original Madara.

**Ordinary Group Leader:** "But even so, they still can't win, right?"

**Ordinary Group Leader:** "No matter how much time you give them, they can't reach your level."

**Ordinary Group Leader:** "The Six Paths realm is probably their ceiling, and they certainly can't cultivate another God Tree fruit."
