Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Young Master Grant's Impotence

Lily Shaw frowned as she looked at the man who had somehow lit a cigarette; what exactly did Eldest Young Master Grant want to do? Could it be that he actually wanted to marry her?

She wouldn't be so narcissistic as to think that this man, who could make all of Silvercrest tremble with a stomp, would fall in love with her at first sight.

These days, first sight love is nothing more than lust, wanting to take advantage of her.

But sitting in front of her was Eldest Young Master Grant; without waving a hand, people would willingly come to him, offering themselves.

He's seen all sorts of beauties; she's not such a stunning beauty that he'd have to choose her.

"Young Master Grant, no one dares to say a word against you." Lily thought it over and still couldn't understand why Aiden Grant would propose a sudden marriage, especially with her as the partner.

"Miss Shaw, look closely at the last page." Aiden's deep, unfathomable eyes looked at her with a meaningful gaze, causing Lily enormous stress with the faint annoyance in them.

Lily truly felt that talking to Aiden was exhausting.

Thinking about this, she simply sat back down, picked up the agreement again, and directly flipped to the last page.

This last page had few words but listed twenty terms:

First term: The marriage lasts one year, and after one year, the marriage relationship is terminated, and each goes their own way.

Second term: Do not interfere in each other's personal matters, both parties have absolute freedom.

Third term: Absolute loyalty is required within one year; whether you find someone you like within the year or are dissatisfied with the other person, you must remain loyal to the marriage.

Fourth term: After the marriage is terminated, the man will compensate the woman with half of his property.

...

Twentieth term: The woman must not refuse to perform marital duties.

The first nineteen terms were very favorable to Lily, but the last term made her frown slightly, "Young Master Grant, I have opinions on the fourth and twentieth terms."

"Hmm, what suggestions do you have?" Eldest Young Master Grant was closely watched by Lily's serious gaze; his heart pounded fiercely, as if ready to leap out of his throat at any moment.

"Regarding the fourth term, after the marriage is terminated, I don't need any of your property. I'm not marrying you for your money. The twentieth term, Young Master Grant, we are merely in a formal marriage; you don't like me, and I don't like you. So, the performing marital duties..." Lily hadn't finished when she saw the man across from her with a cigarette in his mouth, grin roguishly.

"Miss Shaw, you must have heard that rumor, right?" When Aiden heard Lily say, "I also don't like you," his face involuntarily darkened, his pupils uncontrollably emitted a burning glow, but it quickly disappeared.

What rumor? Lily's eyes carried a hint of confusion, not immediately thinking about the rumor of Young Master Grant's impotence.

Aiden was somewhat annoyed as he directly extinguished the cigarette, squinting his eyes tightly at the woman before him.

Lily's eyes were laced with confusion, indicating she really didn't know that rumor, also meaning this woman didn't care about him at all!

Realizing this woman had never paid attention to him, not even knowing the rumor about his impotence, Eldest Young Master Grant's gaze turned cold.

"Miss Shaw, you must have heard that I lack the ability in that regard, right? In other words, I'm impotent." Eldest Young Master Grant's deep, unfathomable eyes focused intently on Lily, speaking as if this topic involved someone else.
