After class ended, noise once again filled the classroom. Several students grabbed their books from their desks and walked toward the red-skinned young man.
"Xerath, the top student from Class A got challenged to a duel by Class B. Wanna come watch?" one of the students with red horns on his head asked.
Xerath slipped his pen into his satchel, about to nod at his friend's invitation, but his movement paused for a moment.
Inside the satchel, his crystal ring was glowing. It seemed it had been glowing for quite a while.
Xerath's expression turned serious for a brief second, but when he lifted his head, a friendly smile had already returned to his face.
"Looks like I can't today. You guys know the Class S rankings happen every week. I need to train."
His friends looked disappointed, but they nodded in understanding. The burden carried by Class S students was completely different from the other classes.
