Hearing the weird rumors, Gara let out a cynical laugh. Not at Yuvika but at everyone who speculated.
"You shouldn't believe those rumors so easily. You have an insider source," Gara said calmly
Yuvika turned toward him with a confused look. "An insider source? Who?"
Gara pointed at himself. "Me. If I'm not saying anything about it, then it's not true."
Yuvika's mouth fell open before she broke into a wide smile. Her cheeks flushed red.
The heart that had once been hurt after learning Gara liked someone else slowly began to heal. Of course, she would keep all those feelings hidden inside.
Yuvika nodded rapidly like a chicken pecking at grains.
Gara hadn't expected rumors to spread this quickly, but because of it, he no longer had to exhaust himself trying to hide the truth.
After arriving at the dorm, Gara didn't rest. He simply changed clothes before leaving the academy. A carriage was already waiting for him.
