As Gelda contacted the control room:
Gelda said, "Control room, god damn stop this broadcast! What? Why the hell is Greed on the monitor?"
The control room said, "We don't know, ma'am. Someone hacked into the broadcast."
Gelda said, "Then cut all the power lines! Stop it now!"
As whispers were spreading, stating: "What? Team Liebe harbouring a devil?" "It makes sense, he did look like a devil with the horns, tail, and wings."
As the announcer continued: "Liebe Faust has committed countless tragedies throughout the nation. He is the man in an alliance with devils."
Alex said, "What the hell is this?"
Mia said, "Sir—"
Licht said, "Damn it. It was a trap."
As the announcer showed Gaia and the members of the XENIZ village in a monstrous state:
Licht said, "What the hell is this? That isn't Gaia."
Mia said, "Can it be a drug?"
Licht said, "Looks like it."
As Greed continued stating: "Liebe Faust has betrayed humanity by siding with the devils, as he himself is the sole reason that 10 years ago—"
Jewel said, "This BS ends now! Light Magic: Raging Light!" As he shattered the barrier, then "Light Magic: Lamp of Avior Blast!" As light scattered and destroyed the speakers.
Lilith said, "Orb of Dominance!" As the black hole destroyed the screen.
As Gelda received word: "Ma'am, there is trouble. The capital—it's being taken over."
Gelda said, "By who?"
The voice said, "By the devils. They are on a rampage, destroying everything in their path. And suddenly, almost everyone has gone silent. We aren't receiving any word from the guards."
As Malacor, the captain of Nebuleye, said, "Guards, capture the traitor of humanity—Liebe Faust!"
Liebe said, "Shit. I have to get out of here."
As his communicator said, "Sir, the capital is burning! We are under attack by devils! They are monsters!"
Liebe said, "Attention all Black Rose forces! Surround the devils, capture them, maintain formation. Bring them all in alive!"
As now Liebe was engaging with the guards and Malacor, the captain of Nebuleye. Liebe thought, Shit. Right now every captain in the nation is here: the captain of Rising Sun, Elva Solaris; captain of White Unicorn, Purgeus Aquafie; captain of Black Lion, Thea Aquafie; captain of Golden Phoenix, Aurora Zetenburg; captain of Avalon, Lunor Vengence; and not to mention the Grandmaster, Asten Chronous.
As Eldrie said, "This ends now! Ice Magic: Frozen Wasteland!" As Malacor was frozen in place.
Malacor said, "What are you Black Rose doing? We are taking a traitor into our custody!"
Gelda said, "An attack on our acting captain is an insult that won't be taken lightly."
Lilith said, "Void: Black Hole Slash!" Destroying part of the stadium.
Lilith said, "Get out, Liebe! Your team needs you! We will handle them."
As Thalorin clashed with Gelda:
Thalorin said, "Why are you defending a traitor? You are supposed to be a textbook nerd for the rules, strongest Valkyrie!"
Gelda said, "Well, that nerd died." As she kicked Thalorin, sending her back.
As Purgeus and Aurora tried to attack Liebe, they were stopped by Lia and Frey.
Lia said, "Hey, you are a captain. You should know better than to attack the tired."
Frey said, "An attack on Black Rose will not be tolerated."
As Vexus joined the fray.
As Liebe flew away from above, he saw the burning city.
Liebe said, "Everyone, form an absolute defence line! Stop them!" As he went to the people and said, "Dark Magic: Dark Castling!" teleporting them away. He looked, yet Gaia was not amongst the XENIZ.
Liebe said, "I can't teleport them. Capture them!"
As from behind, Asten said, "Gradient Magic: Burning Light! All who bear darkness, turn to dust!"
Liebe said, "What are you doing, Grandmaster? These devils aren't evil!"
Asten said, "This is a necessity."
Liebe said, "Alright then. If you are itching for a fight this badly, I will face you. Dark Magic: Vesta Grand Strike!"
Asten said, "It isn't my job as Grandmaster to know what kind of people these devils are. I'm here to protect the people. And if it means I have to go through you to do it, then be it. Gradient Magic: White Executioner!" As he used his polarm with light.
Liebe's communicator said, "Faust, what is this? How did this occur?"
As Liebe was fighting Asten, Liebe said, "A bit busy now."
Pride said, "I'm entering the battle."
Meanwhile, in the castle:
Aina said, "Liebe a traitor?"
Guilbert said, "No, it can't be. Big Bro Liebe taught us what's right and wrong."
Aina said, "Yeah, you are right. Big Bro Liebe cannot be a traitor, no matter what the man in the broadcast does."
As from behind, Lilith appeared.
Lilith said, "Go, Liebe! Get out of here!"
Asten said, "Lilith, you are in this too?"
Lilith said, "I'm only supporting my son, even if it means going against you. And we both know you can't beat me."
As Liebe goes away, Lilith was shot at from different directions.
Liebe said, "No, it can't be... it's Master—"
Lilith said, "Get going, Liebe! I can handle these two." Lilith said, "Lady Mikhail, you are here as well." The former world's greatest assassin.
Mikhail said, "Liebe is making a mistake."
Liebe said, "You both stay, or else I will get involved."
As Lilith grew horns, tail, and wings.
Frey said, "You all get going too! Liebe needs your help!"
Isurugi said, "Understood, sir!" As they also went out.
As they saw the devils, they attempted their best to hold them off.
Licht said, "What the hell is going on in the capital?"
At the stadium:
Warner said, "I have to help too, but with my body like this, how can I help?"
May said, "Brother, let me help. My flames are still here. Phoenix Flame Magic: Healing Flames!" As Warner was being healed.
Warner said, "May, I'm OK. You stay with Harner, alright? I will help Liebe."
As it was basically a free-for-all battle, the order to capture the devils might as well be Liebe accepting the guilt. He was being attacked by every big name in the country, not to mention being weakened by the final match.
As soon as Pride joined him:
Liebe said, "Pride, what the hell is wrong with them?"
Pride said, "It's a Z19 drug. It makes devils lose their sense of self and turn them into monsters meant for killing. They will go on rampaging till death."
Liebe said, "Tell me, what can we do?"
Pride said, "Nothing. Even 5 grams can affect a devil. But based on these devils, each of them has more than 45 grams."
Liebe said, "What do we do? Killing them won't be right."
Pride said, "There is a way to purify their hearts. Since they are devils, killing or removing limbs won't do anything—they can regenerate. Then when their hearts are exposed, we need to purify them."
Liebe said, "I can cleanse it. But can you help?"
Pride said, "I will help. But we need the human La from our village. She can certainly help."
Liebe said, "Good, because I'm sensing a human."
Pride said, "That must be her."
As the battle was going on:
Greed said, "All is set in motion. Looks like the captains aren't exactly fond of Liebe Faust here. But we still need to turn the Black Queen white. Let's see—where is the pawn needed to change her?"
As Liebe was flying trying to cleanse the devils, he was attacked by a huge black battle axe. It was Professor Obsidian.
Obsidian said, "Liebe, stop! The knights protecting the people take priority."
Liebe said, "I have moved away as many people as I could, Professor. We need to find Gaia."
Obsidian said, "And then what? You are a good person, Liebe. A human one with potential. If you rise up, you can change our nation. But throwing your status as a hero away for a devil—she may have been better, but right now she is no different than a monster. Don't throw it all away for nothing. Not to mention, if a half-breed is seen sheltering devils, Hedin, Lumos—they will suffer as well."
Liebe said, "Even so, I will do what I must as the leader to protect one of my own."
Obsidian said, "Alright then. It appears I have no choice. Remember this, Liebe: when people follow in different paths and collide with one another, there are only 2 options. In one, you step out of the way. The other, you push them aside and move forward. Those are your choices." As the battle axe smashed the ground.
Liebe said, "I see. You are not choosing the first one." As Liebe said, "Dark Magic: Endless Execution!"
