[3rd POV]
A couple of days had passed since they had gone on that little trip around the cities of Metropolis and Gotham, and not a lot had happened.
Eda had returned to the shop twice in that time, as she had made it her mission to inform them about certain events that were occurring in the Boiling Isles. It was during this trip that she revealed that Lilith was now actively searching for Amity, after she had found out about the rather "unfortunate" fate of the Blights.
The fact that the Blights had been cursed by a powerful entity of unknown origin was practically common knowledge in the boiling isles at this point. And it was thanks to this knowledge that she was now not the only one looking for her.
From what Eda had said, Belos was trying to find Wanda. Likely in order to either kill her or attempt to control her power for himself. Not that that would ever work of course, as she was not as ignorant as someone like the collector, and she was not as incapable as the Titan.
Belos would likely be cursed the moment he stepped in her shop, as Wanda was not even remotely interested in interacting with the man, should he try to do anything to her. However, should he go down a route similar to that of Lex Luthor and the like, then she would let him shop at her store as much as he wants.
Granted that he does not harm Hunter at all or anything.
Hunter was yet another child in the Boiling Isles that Wanda was planning to save or at least help. He went through a lot thanks to the man known as Belos, and he was treated horribly by the man. That was in canon at least, Wanda did not know what sort of person Belos was in this universe, hence why she wanted to wait before doing anything just yet.
Eda had also informed them that the teachers at Hexside were growing worried about the fact that Amity had not shown up to school in a while. As while Wanda did send them a notice that she'd be out for a little while, it was strange to hear about the curse placed on Amity's family, and then see that she was going to be out for weeks.
It made a lot of alarm bells go off in the minds of the group that was in charge of the school, and now they too were actively trying to find Amity. They weren't trying to find her for anything bad or anything, but they were trying to find her to make sure that she was actually okay.
Since they had no knowledge of what she was up to at the moment, who her current caretaker was, and what had happened that led to her leaving her family like they were. They were even more worried about the fact that she may or may not be cursed just like the rest of her family.
Hence why they were trying their best to look out for her.
Eda had also explained that some of Amity's friends from school had seemingly been asking around. But said "Friends" were not exactly the nicest people in the world, especially the three eyed bully known as Boscha. The girl was a bully that enjoyed making other children suffer, especially those that she saw as "weaker" and "poorer".
Amity was one of the few kids that she could not bully. Simply because Amity was far richer than her thanks to her parents, and was also far stronger thanks to her own talent. But she still seemed to actually worry about Amity a bit, but that was probably more so because of the connections that Amity could bring her. And the power that sort of friendship could give her.
Amity wanted nothing to do with her though. She had made it very clear that she didn't want to interact with pretty much 95% of her old friends, as most of them were similar to Boscha in the sense that they were with her thanks to her parents manipulations, and the power that her parents had over their parents.
She was much more interested in regaining a few old friends, and making some new ones. The main friend that she really really wanted to talk with again was Willow, a girl that she had been forced to distance herself from, once again thanks to her parents.
Her parents saw Willow as someone that was lesser, weak, pitiful. They thought she was useless and Amity should not waste her time interacting with useless people. Only those that could give the family something in return, is worthwhile to interact with.
Wanda planned on helping Amity reconnect with her old friend in the future, but that would only happen once she returned to school in the next week or two. As that was the only place that they could really interact with one another without difficulty. Otherwise it'd be a lot harder to do.
Although, the other option was to just have Willow visit the shop, which would work just fine. But the shop was a bit further away from the school, so it'd be a bit more of a trek to get there.
After Eda had informed them of the various things that were going down in the Boiling Isles, she had bought a few more books, and then had left. But not before promising to regularly come back to the shop to buy more books and inform them of the various things that are going down in the Isles.
At the moment Wanda was in the store, sitting behind her counter like usual. Death was in the shop, buying a few new books that she had seen that looked interesting. This was the first time in a little while that Death had been there, and she seemed to play off of that fact.
Whenever Death had the chance, she would make sure to lean down in order to grab a book, making her skirt ride up slightly to show Wanda her backside. She was also walking with a sway to her hips, and was doing her best to truly get the attention of Wanda.
And she was.
Wanda had a lot of self control. But Death and Raven were both very very good at getting her attention. All they had to do was move in a certain way, sway their hips a bit more, or wear the right clothing, and her attention would be solely onto them.
Exactly like it was with Death at the moment.
Her eyes glanced down at Death's plump perfect behind, a sigh echoing from her, knowing that the woman was teasing her to the best of her ability.
"You know, if you're going to tease me, you can be a bit less obvious about it" Wanda said, as she heard Death giggled before the embodiment walked over to her. Death stared at her with a small smile on her face, before speaking.
"I know, but it's fun. And what happened to you? You feel similar to...me. Did you become a concept or something?" Death asked, staring at Wanda who smiled in response.
"Sort of. I became a primordial" Wanda responded, as Death raised an eyebrow. Primrodials did indeed exist in the DC universe, but most of them were not embodiments of concepts like the ones in PJO. Well, not in the same way at least.
They were lesser, not as complete. Whereas PJO Primordials were true embodiments that actually were the concepts themselves. Combining it with her own power, it became the true thing. Even in the DC universe, her embodiment overrides those that were similar.
Eventually they would be absorbed into her, as there could only be one true embodiment of a concept. That power would become her own, and she would grow stronger. This would only continue to happen with each universe that she bonded to, her power over the concepts that she embodied becoming more and more absolute.
"Huh, definitely more than a primordial. You feel like...well, me. The so-called Primordials that I know of are not even remotely as powerful as you are in their respective concepts" Death replied, a little surprised with this news.
"Yeah well the primordial I became was something a bit...more. And I am not exactly normal either way" Wanda said with a shrug, as Death snorted.
"Ain't that the truth" Death replied, as she placed her chosen books onto the counter.
Before long Wanda began to look over the books, a small smile on her face.
"Interesting choices"
They were all books on love.
Wanda and Death locked eyes, smiles on both of their faces. As Wanda had one thought on her mind.
