[3rd POV]
"Are you trying to say something? Because it looks to me that you're saying something with all of these books about love and romance" Wanda asked, amused as she checked out all of the books that Death had chosen for the day.
She noticed that a number of them were also smutty books, with quite a few of them being lesbian smut books at that. Which made her even more certain that Death was trying to say something with the choice of books that she had made.
"Maybe, maybe not~ You'll just have to find out soon" Death responded with a smirk, as she brought out her money to pay for the books. Usually she would just exchange one of her own books, but this time she did not have any books to give her, not right now at least.
She planned on finding a couple of new ones soon, but it was getting increasingly difficult to find good books for Wanda to buy off of her, since the woman in question was getting more and more knowledge, and was learning more and more.
Not only that, but she was finding more and more books on her own, with her getting thousands of new books every month thanks to her customers constantly bringing in new ones that she had yet to read. She had a back log that was getting bigger and bigger every single day.
Even with her currently having dozens of clones constantly reading through the books, it was not making much of a difference. That was how insanely fast that she was gaining more books. And Wanda was pretty sure that it would only get faster as she started to have regular customers from the Boiling Isles.
As she did plan on starting to let the normal folk from the Boiling Isles to start coming to her store to shop for books, and trade in their own. They had a ton of books that she had yet to touch, and she was certain that there was tons of media to gain from there.
At the same time, she planned on connecting her shop to the normal Earth side of that universe as well, as there was yet another source of books there that she had never seen. At the very least, she would be able to gain access to the Azura for Amity, who loved the series and really wanted to read more from the series.
Wanda was a little interested in it herself, as she had yet to read any of the books in the series. But at the same time, she had yet to get her hands on any of them either. Amity did promise to go to her secret spot in the Boiling Isles public library, once she started back at school. And in said secret spot she had the series, or at least everything up to the most recent book that had been released.
She didn't even know it had been released, but Wanda remembered that Luz would be the one to give her the book so that she can read it and catch up with her in the series.
Speaking of Luz, Wanda was still waiting for the girl to appear. She had no idea when she was supposed to show up, and how it was going to go. Since she still didn't know what "Itteration" of Luz it was. Was she the normal one? The adorable, goofy, lovable one?
Or was she going to be someone else? Like one of the variants where she was abused or neglected by her mother. Using her fascination for fantasy to escape the reality of what her mother did to her and how she treated her.
Or was this going to be a situation where she was more similar to her "Beta" counterpart in so many of those fanfics?
Or perhaps she would be something else. Like one that was more fragile, broken. Having experienced something traumatic earlier on in her past life through a number of different possibilities.
Wanda was very interested either way. As she knew the girl was going to be a fantastic influence on Amity, and she knew that it was very likely that Amity and Luz would become a thing. The two were almost destined for one another, and that was quite literal.
Wanda had enough control over destiny and fate to know that Amity and Luz were inherently connected on a deep level, thanks to the fate of their universe and their deep and important places in that universe's fate.
Wanda could undo that part, but she would not. As Amity was still going to be returning to the place constantly sooner or later, and she knew that Amity loved her home a lot. She would always see the Boiling Isles as her true home, and once she got old enough, Wanda was certain that she would want to move back to the Isles.
Something that Wanda had already mentally prepared herself for, as she also knew that Amity was getting closer and closer to her. And not only that, but she was getting closer and closer to calling her Mama.
Just like Wanda wanted so badly.
"I'll make sure I do" Wanda replied to Death with a small hum escaping her, as she handed the bag to her regular customer that also loved to flirt with her at any chance she had.
Their flirting never went too far, not yet. But Wanda had noticed more and more looks that Death was giving her everytime that they had met up. The embodiment would look her over with deeper and deeper fascination. She would glance at her chest whenever her cleavage was shown, and she would happily take in the sight of her ass whenever it showed even slightly.
Wanda did not mind though, as she got the same in return. In which she got the sight of Death's perfect little butt jiggling whenever she bent over. Or the way her breasts pressed against Death's clothing, as said clothes clung rather tightly to her shirts.
This was obviously done to get her attention, and it was working.
"Good~ I'll see you soon, darling" Death said with a low purr, pressing a kiss against Wanda's cheek before walking off with a sway of her hips, and making sure her backside showed ever so slightly every time she walked in a certain way.
Wanda chuckled at the woman's antics, knowing that this was her attempt at getting her to go over her edge and go after her. But that would never happen, not for Wanda. She was in control of balance and such, so something like that could not happen.
But Death also knew that, and loved it. Teasing her whenever she had the chance, all so she'd get more and more pent up for the time that they finally went all the way, just as Wanda and Raven had, which led to their new and current life together.
With Death leaving, Wanda found herself in the shop alone...again.
But now for long, as the door creeped open a few moments after Death had left, her eyebrow raising as she saw who had entered.
"Cannot say I was expecting you to ever return, Regina" Wanda said to the "Evil Queen" from the OUAT universe. It had been a little while since her or Emma had appeared, which made her understand that something was going down on their end. Likely involving Regina's mother or something along those lines.
"And I never expected I would come back. But I have found myself...rather desperate, so, I am here" Regina said, staring into the eyes of the woman of impossible power. Last time she was there, Wanda was far weaker, still massively stronger than her by millions of times. But now...now it was something else, Wanda was something else.
Something beyond anything she had ever seen.
And Regina did not exactly like that.
It made her uncomfortable, knowing that Henry could visit the shop pretty much whenever, and could interact with Wanda, who was still an unknown woman of impossible power. The sort of power that even Rumplestiltskin had no clue how to defend or contend against.
Almighty power. That is what Wanda has.
And it absolutely terrified Regina, as she stared into the eyes of Wanda Maximoff, listening as Wanda opened her mouth, and slowly asked her a question. A very important one.
And that question was...
"What are you here for?"
