"Mitsuo I have a report."
"What is it about General Akira?"
"It's about the war."
"You know most war reports don't need me to see it. I only agreed to this meeting because it's you. What's special about this one?"
"Take a look at this."
Akira turned to the side and reached out his right hand. The next moment the light in the room dimmed and a holographic projector on the wall began displaying itself.
On the projector was various high fidelity images of a giant monster that was rapidly appearing across all the battlefronts.
"This black box you see in the background has been appearing on just about every major battlefront. In a timespan of around 1 minute after appearing the box opens and a monster known as Satori appears."
Akira made a dark expression.
"The monster has proven to be extremely difficult to kill."
The screen showed a bird's eye view of Satori evading fire almost like a bouncing ball on the screen.
It can shoot large explosive projectiles from its mouth and feet. It can fly. It shows a high degree of intelligence and regeneration. And the box has proven to be indestructible.
Mitsuo stared at the screen intensely with a dead expression. Then he turned his head towards Akira.
"And?"
Akira have a stern expression. He clenched his hands. He has completely resolved himself to what he had to say.
"Riku Tensai Mitsuo, I request on behalf of the NS Military that we are granted access to the armaments of the Future King."
Mitsuo remained still. Holding his dead expression right at Akira for several seconds.
'Sensei said his weapons had the ability to detect threat levels. If I can upload this footage to all of the weapons. I will be able to find an appropriate weapon."
"No"
"THIS MONSTER IS SLAUGHTERING US WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO!"
Akira slammed his hand down.
"Mitsuo we are unequipped to handle a threat of this magnitude. If it was just fast and strong that would be fine but every successfull attack has lead to no results. The box appears everywher-
"Akira. Instead of giving weapons to you I will go to the battlefield myself. And bring the weapons with me."
Akira frowned but he seemed relieved as well.
"I understand that you are the head of the NS but you have to restrain yourself. Otherwise, you could lose control at a critical moment."
"But still, wouldn't it be better if the military had some decisive authority over the use of the Future Kings Armory?"
"No." Mitsuo would not be convinced to give the NS any more authority than it already had "This meeting is over. And you will not bring up this topic again."
Akira frowned, before standing up and leaving the room. Only leaving behind the sound of hydraulics opening and closing the door.
Mitsuo let out a heavy sigh. He rubbed his face with one hand and leaned back on his chair.
He opened a hologram display and uploaded the footage to the Inventory. The automated systems would identify the best counter for Satori.

"This one?"

Fort Hatsu was a military base smack dab in the middle of nowhere. It was surrounded by a large desert. It was dry and very hot, over a hundred degrees Fahrenheit.
The base consisted of a giant hexagonal force field surrounding a large cluster of buildings in a very minimalistic and simple style made out of metal, all interconnected with basic concrete pavement.
The soldiers stationed there were patrolling all around the base both inside and outside the force field.
Fort Hatsu was on paper, a military base. Due to the large number of soldiers stationed there but more practically, it was a weapons factory. Producing tanks, railguns, and even the occasional mech. It constantly received shipments of metals and chemicals to produce these weapons.
Suddenly the alarms started blaring. The sound of sirens engulfed the entirety of Fort Hatsu.
Up above a ripple traveled across the forcefield as a large box dropped onto the forcefield. It was bounced off and fell to the side of the large dome. But that was enough time to start evacuating and alert the entire military of the boxes location.
Mitsuo who was sitting in the Inventory, immediately noticed the alert. He immediately charged out of his room. As he was running towards the portal exit, his day clothes were automatically deconstructed around his body by fabricators. Revealing the metal body he had beneath his clothes. (Looks similar to Genos)
As soon as Mitsuo charged out of the portal he was met with the Box of Ultimate Bliss. Standing just in front of a gigantic forcefield. Surrounded by desert and hot wind.
The portal stayed open. It emitted a soft green light that spread. It formed a large greenish dome around Mitsuo and the Box. And then the portal closed, shrinking in an instant.
The showdown was ready. Mitsuo had everything he needed. All that was left was for the Box to open.
The box opened. It's mouth opened, and Satori climbed out of it. Already fully transformed. The demands of Isshiki was simple. Destroy everything.
Satori opened its mouth and shot a giant sphere straight at Mitsuo. Mitsuo did not move to evade. He extended his arm forward. And a gigantic blast eviscerated the ball into nothingness.
Satori had dodged to the side and launched his feathers towards Mitsuo. Preparing to throw more spheres at him.
In response, Mitsuo activated various thrusters on his back, feet, and arms. In an instant he charged through the feathers, destroying all of them. He flew right above Satori and accelerated his entire body towards them and threw a devastating punch.
Satori was knocked to the ground before he could do anything. However, Mitsuo's arm was completely obliterated in the process, turning into scrap metal.
The destroyed arm detached from Mitsuo's body. And a portal opened, sending a new arm that attached to Mitsuo's body.
Satori easily recovered from the blow and flew towards Mitsuo. His hands turned into spikes and struck at him at him. Satori dodging backwards. Evading the barrage of melee attacks that Satori sent his way.
Mitsuo's body began to glow and many lasers shot out from his body. Thew all aimed at one of Satori's wings, cutting it off. Before Mitsuo charged forward again and destroyed his other arm in a powerful strike to Satori's face.
As the fight dragged on Satori had noticed that his fear detection was not working against the opponent he was facing. That meant two things. Either, the opponent had some special way of blocking Satori's senses or that they truly felt no fear as they fought.
Satori with his wealth of experience destroying the Military and experiencing many weapons technologies had never seen any kind of method that could evade his senses. He could sense the opponent he was facing was a true living being and not just a puppet as well. So it must have been that the opponent truly didn't know fear.
Satori began to laugh. Although he was constantly taking damage from exchanging blows with this man he laughed as he met someone devoid of fear. One of the most rare occasions he ever gets to experience when he leaves the box.
'What the?' Mitsuo was questioning why Satori randomly decided to laugh in the middle of combat. While he understood that there could be many reasons, he was simply too focused on fighting to think about those reasons.
"I have won." Mitsuo announced his victory towards Satori. He stopped attacking and stood still. Satori himself was confused by Mitsuo's announcement.
But the next moment, the green light that had surrounded both of them began for the entirety of the battle had begun intensifying. The temperature rose sharply and... Satori began turning into stone.
The entire fight had been a distraction, a ploy to buy time. The true fight was in the green light surrounding them. It was nanomachines, tiny machines that saturated the area, absorbing energy from the sun like a plant leaving behind only green light.
These nanomachines were slowly filling up Satori the entire fight. Making sure they could rearrange his molecules into stone in one fell swoop.
Just as Satori was fully turned into stone inside out, Mitsuo spread out his legs and arms. His entire body glowed and radiated intense heat. A massive laser shot from Mitsuo's body, vaporizing the stone.
At the same time robots pulled the box into portals that appeared into the inventory. Immediatlely using special forcefields that could reject everything not authorized on even the atomic level.
Mitsuo stood still. His chest had a humongous cavity in it, with metal torn outwards. The sheer power of that final laser had completely wrecked his body.
Although the box could simply spit out another corrupted vessel for Satori to possess, and Mitsuo didn't know it. He had for the first and last time in history managed to kill Satori.
Mitsuo was not done though. The sensors in his body were incredibly sensitive. He had detected Isshiki who had left the scene into his pocket dimension just moments ago.
"Such a small size for a humanoid body." Mitsuo had finally observed Isshiki for the first time.
