"Now that you're done eating my face out..."
Ella began, but Alexander immediately interrupted her, his lips curving into a smug smile. "Oh, babe, there's something else I could eat better."
Ella's mouth fell open, then she quickly shut it, her face turning scarlet. "Alexander!"
He laughed when her cheeks immediately turned pink. "What?" he asked innocently.
"You are impossible."
"And yet you agreed to date me."
"I am beginning to question my judgment."
Alexander laughed, "You're too late." Ella rolled her eyes, trying desperately not to smile. Alexander watched her, his expression softening. She was beautiful. He reached out and gently tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Alex," she scolded. "Can you please be serious?"
"I am." Alexander shrugged innocently.
"What was the talk with Dad about?" She shifted farther away from him as she asked, creating a noticeable distance between them.
