"What?" Eric gasped, his eyes widening. "What did you just say?"
Alexander looked at him for a moment before giving a small, knowing nod. "You remember, then."
Eric stared at him, shock written all over his face. "How did you...?" His voice trailed off as he struggled to process what he was hearing.
"What do you think?" Alexander asked quietly.
Eric's lips parted, but no words came out at first. Then realization dawned on him. "Do you also...?" He stopped himself, his eyes narrowing slightly as he searched Alexander's face. "She told you, didn't she?" he asked.
Alexander nodded. Eric leaned back against the chair, visibly overwhelmed. His fingers tightened around the armrest. "So she trust you that much." He muttered.
Alexander watched him carefully. Despite everything, there was something almost painful about seeing Eric like this. "You should talk to her," Alexander finally said. "Don't leave her without saying a word." Eric's brows furrowed.
