With things having calmed down somewhat, and Aeon no longer bleeding out, the two of them stood in awkward silence for a moment. Both unsure of how to proceed.
Their plans for how this encounter was going to occur had been tossed right out of the airlock.
"So, what are we going to do about that? I'm not sure how to explain it to the store's employees." Avery said, pointing at the puddle of blood on the floor.
"Ah, that is a bit of a problem. I also probably can't walk out into public wearing this. Not unless I want to be confused for a deranged psycho murderer, or a stabbing victim. Either way, the attention won't be good."
Before Avery could make any suggestions, Aeon pulled out his terminal and began hastily sending out some messages.
"Okay, someone will be by soon to close down this section of the store for a bit, bring me some new clothes, and clean this mess up."
