Avery and Aeon sat across from each other in silence for a few awkward moments. Neither of them quite knowing where to start the conversation.
"So, what is it you sought me out for? I never was able to parse out your objective in coming here. Are you just looking to make a new connection, or is there something specific you wanted from me?" Aeon asked, breaking the silence.
"I guess I should just come out and say it. I was hoping to find out more about psionic powers and how to control them. As well as learn about what Awakened truly are. I've met only a couple of others, and they didn't have much concrete information to give."
"I've also had some less than savory types target me because they found out what I am. They're dead or detained now, so that issue has been resolved. Still, I feel like I'm grasping around in the dark and have only picked up a few clues I can't even be certain are true."
