Kolli
I didn't know what had gotten into me.
Maybe it was the four glasses of whiskey I had chugged down in the span of thirty minutes that had gone straight to my bloodstream. The little sips of gin I had taken throughout the after party. Burning. Hot. Making my skin feel too tight. I blamed myself for drinking on an empty stomach. But I also knew there was no way I could eat anything without vomiting it out when Danilo was in the same room as me. My stomach couldn't handle him and food at the same time.
I glanced over at him. And despite my better judgement, despite everything I'd just said ten minutes ago, I poured myself another glass. My hand was shaking. The amber liquid sloshed against the sides. I shakily raised it to my lips but before I could take a sip, Danilo was in front of me.
Fast.
