"Leo!!"
Bella's face lit up the moment she saw him. She looked like a child who had just seen her favorite person walk through the door. Moonbeam and Berry were still clutched tightly in her arms, pressed against her chest, their soft plush providing her comfort.
Leo walked toward her, his usual cold face softening as he reached the bed. He sat down beside her.
"Bunny, look," he said gently, gesturing toward the doorway. "Someone is here to see you."
Bella's gaze followed his hand.
Her eyes landed on Miss J and William standing just inside the doorway. Miss J's face was pale, her eyes red-rimmed, her hands clasped tightly in front of her. She looked like she hadn't slept in days. William stood beside her, his expression calm.
Fear flickered across Bella's face.
