Damon sat on the ground as his mind began drifting away. He didn't know what to say. He really didn't know how to feel, a part of him was worried and yet a part of him was actually intrigued with their situation.
Thinking it was luck, he looked at his progression and knew what needed to be done.

He put 3 points into stamina and 2 into his speed. [ Stamina-13/speed-17.]
He had to get stronger regardless of where he was or he would die no matter what, and knowing they were stranded on the wrong planet with multiple levels of beasts instead of just low matured, may have provided him with a faster opportunity to do so.
Standing up he walked over to a big rock grabbing it from the sides by hugging it. He lift it up a couple of inches off the ground and sat it back down.
"That's way more than what I need to lift."
He did it four more times and received a notification stating his weight training task was completed. He then whisped the rock into his storage.
Turning around Calvus and Fang were looking at him with confusion.
"It's part of my daily routine, there's no point in worrying, It won't help, you said that when we first got here fang. I don't want to die so I'll just have to get stronger." He said as he took off down the river bank running up and down.
"He's insane, he's bat shit crazy. Does he really believe we can become strong enough to survive on a planet like this." Calvus spoke harshly, his voice carried a hint of fear and confusion as he watched Damon with helpless eyes.
"You heard what Mr. Bell said, this place is crawling with powerful creatures. We are just kids....weak kids at that compared to the dangers of this place."
Fang listened to Calvus, but watched Damon carefully, seeing the seriousness in his face with every running stride he took. He understood what Calvus was saying. In truth, their circumstances had changed drastically, and to him Calvus was right. But watching Damon, he could see an unrattled boy with simple determination.
"I dont think he truly believes he can get strong enough to take on beasts that are out of his league. I think he knows its practically impossible, but even then he has the courage to try and do something. He's not being truly courageous though, its more like he's accepted our circumstances and rather than sulk and feel sorry for himself. He's doing what he can, even if its a little. It can surely increase the chances of him living a bit longer i feel. " Fang spoke in thought.
A few tears ran down Calvus face just before looking up a Damon, who now added push-ups in his random routine, after reaching a certain distance up river.
He took in shallow breaths, processing Damon's actions and Fangs words. Looking down, he made a fist and folded his bottom lip inward gaining a bit of determination.
Calvus looked at Damon once more, but this time with understanding and admiration thinking how right he was. He too got up as Damon came back down, and began running with him.
"These boys are something special. When I was still in the academy, I would have lost my mind knowing the circumstances back then. Calvus comes from a family of absurde wealth and strength while Damon is the complete opposite."
"It's one thing they have in common though, their hearts are in the right place." He thought.
Many hours passed and Damon had completed his daily tasks gaining 100 exp.
[Exp-280/500.]
Anytime he used cloud shaping or rain control no matter if it was for fighting or not, it counted for his practice as well.
They set up camp away from the river bank at the wood line of the forest. Fang showed them how to set up motion orb lights on trees along with trip wire around the perimeter. He faced most of the motion lights towards the river bank as it was the only area they couldn't really put many trip wires.
The sun was setting and so they started a camp fire and began to prepare some food. Fang wisped out a steel table going to work on the meat they had retrieved. They ring on Fangs finger was a dimensional storage space in the form of an accessory.
They watched fang carefully as he sliced and diced the meat while stripping away unnecessary fat.
They all grabbed meat by the handfuls and washed it in the river. Unlike the the river below, It's temperature was cool and normal.
Next they cleaned off the steel table and fang pressed a few buttons that were below it.
The entire top slab began heating up as he took out pots and pans along with bottles of herbs and spices.
"Hmph, just because you're off world doesn't mean you can't have a decent meal that's actually enjoyable. This is my third off world expedition, so i always bring my personal accessories like these along for the trip."
"There will be times where making a fire to cook food won't do. Especially if you're in a high beast area."
"Well won't the smell of food still attract them ? and we've already lit a fire." Damon asked.
"Not so much, most beasts that are predators prefer a more natural scent like rotting flesh, blood or a living scent like ours and the fire we already have is fine for now."
Damon noted everything he said in his head as he quickly realized he could learn a few things from Fang.
Calvus already knew of these simple survival tactics because of his father. He still listened, but mainly watched Damons body language.
He noticed how much he was into learning things, even if it was something simple as setting up a defensive perimeter and cooking.
"Must have been tough to be alone for so long." Calvus thought while thinking of his own fortunate upbringing.
Fang took first watch after dinner while Damon and Calvus got some rest. While in his tent Damon played around with his clouds, making them as small as a marble and as big as a watermelon.
"Plasma is the type of energy pool i have, but i don't know what that is exactly. Could it be the elemental power my clouds and rain ?." He asked himself.
" Not once has my plasma pool drained, I thought it took energy to use abilities, but my clouds or my rain doesn't drain it. The hell exactly is plasma energy anyway."
He thought about it more and realized he felt very sore and winded right after the fight. This left him believing his rain and clouds were linked to his stamina some how, as it seemed to take more of a toll on his body than anything.
If that was the case he needed to add more attribute points to it fast as he couldn't use other weapons until he fully awakened. 10/15 attribute points available.
He was pretty sure his stamina lasted at least six hours because he had to practice for 4 and 2 hours with his ability. Calculating the 10 ability attribute points he already had. He estimated each point could add on 36 minutes if he was just practicing like normal, but when actual fighting came in play, more of his stamina was used.
It still didn't tell him why his plasma pool wasn't being used, but he eventually drifted off thinking about it.
He was woken up by Calvus who grabbed I'm him by his shoulder and shook his body a little.
"Dude, You sleep hard, shhhhh, We have company let's go." He said whispering and signaling for him to stay quiet.
Getting up, they walked outside where Fang was waiting. He was perfectly still and the focus in his eyes were unmoving.
Looking ahead was a manlike figure on the other side of the river, but as it moved into the light an ape type beast was seen walking on two legs. It's 3 meter tall muscular slim frame moved without sound, defying its weight.
It carried a spear made from bones and It's dark brown fur was soaked in thick yellow blood. Over its shoulder was a dead beast, It looked at them for a moment before pointing its spear at them.
"Too weak, leave place." It's voice was deep and sounded animal like as a low rumble could be heard behind it words.
Calvus and Fangs eyes became buckshot hearing it speak.
Fang slowly pushed them behind him as his whole being began to tremble, Seeing his reaction Damon knew it wasn't good.
"Fear, that's good. Keep you live longer " the beast said as it turned around and walked away disappearing into the forest like nothing ever happened.
It took them a minute to gather themselves. The first person to speak was Fang.
"Pack everything up, we need to get out of here."
Damon and Calvus were hesitant, they heard Fang loud and clear, but didn't move.
"Now damn it." He yelled snapping them out of it.
Within a minute everything had been put in their storage spaces. Fang browsed on the tablet looking at the landscape and marked where he wanted to go.
It was still dark, but fang wanted to get far as he could away from their original spot. Hours passed and they had run into a few low matured beasts.
[Low matured beast killed ×2]
[80exp gained]
[Exp-360/500.]
Damon had made it to level 10 in no time.
Ding !
[New passive/mental skill obtained.]
[Oversee- A skill that allows you to gather information such as maturity levels of beasts and floral life.]
Damon was excited about his new skill, but his mind was elsewhere. They were super vulnerable at the moment, traveling at night on a planet with horrifying danger that could end them without them seeing it coming. So he ignored the message for now, at least until they reached safety.
They had been to four different areas and still weren't able to find shelter that fang was satisfied with. It wasn't until they saw a cave near a small stream.
Walking inside they knew it wasn't empty, but also knew they had to rest. Fangs tablet scanned the area for life and popping up on the screen was one energy signal at the mid mature level.
"Get ready to fight, we are taking this cave for ourselves, its only one mid mature beast. We have to work together, but we can do it."
Damon and Calvus looked at eachother and nodded just before Fang walked forward slowly.
Fang threw multiple light orbs like a ninja tossing throwing stars. They stuck to the walls and ceiling of the cave, lighting up the area revealing a large creature sleeping.
It's eyes shot open as the light was casted, seeing them it wasted no time charging forward. Tilting its head down, It's huge tusks bashed into the wall as they dodged moving multiple ways.
Ice walls and ice pillars shot from the ground all around inside the cavern. Damon threw two cloud swords hitting the beast in its side, but it failed to pierce its skin. It roared in anger stretching its claws wide.
A blinking image of Calvus appeared in front of it and one on its backside. Both images attacked swinging a battle axe. The real Calvus was standing next to Damon, at least that's what he thought because he wasn't blinking.
The beast claws swung phasing straight through the first one and then the second, but a third blinking image was coming down from above.
At the moment of impact the image stopped blinking and instead the Calvus next to Damon was blinking and then it wasn't anymore as the other one faded.
"What the hell was that ?." Damon thought.
Calvus hadn't performed his ability until now and to Damon all he was saw was some sort of image swapping trickery.
Fang opened his palms as five large ice shards formed shooting out stabbing the beast. Blood spilled all over, but Fang then stomped his foot spreading ice throughout making it surf the floor.
The beast horn began glowing shooting out a red beam. With his arm out in front a thick ice shield formed as the beam shot his way crashing into it, now Fang was being pushed back.
Lifting up his foot, ice spikes shot from the sole of his boots, stabbing them in the ground, it held him in place.
"Do something." He shouted as the beam began breaking chunks off the ice shield.
