Alarms around the area was set off informing everyone to get back. Seconds later the bubble like portal burst and disappeared creating a explosive gust of wind that shook the entire room like an earthquake.
On the other side. Fang, Damon and Calvus were warping through. To them after entering. The portal looked as if it was a twisting tunnel that sucked them in at an unbelievable speed. Multiple colors of red, purple, green, blue and orange flashed and spun together just before revealing a murky blue film ahead.
The process was painless, fast, but slightly overwhelming to their eyes.
They soon found themselves submerged in water. Damon panicked for a few seconds as his eyes adjusted. For a moment his mind went to racing about how deep they possibly were after realizing they were in deep water...but seeing a light shining from above brought a calmness to his mind as he knew it wasn't too deep.
After reaching the surface they only had to swim for 30 meters to reach the shore. Luckily nothing happened while they battled the small river current to get on land.
Fang quickly informed them of their first task before he was to let them have free reigns. They were to help find a high point that was at least a 100 meters above ground level.
Looking around they were surrounded by dark green beautiful tropical trees. The forest floor was damp like it rained recently. The air was clear and the sounds of wildlife was heard throughout.
Looking up Damon noticed a flock of birds or somekind of beasts flying over them. They were around two meters or so in length, while admiring their blue, green and red color patterns he also noticed they had six wings.
Fang handed them a small tablet device, It created a small flash that scanned the ground. Appearing on the screen was a layout of the area within a 600 kilometers radius.
"These will help us learn the land and find the high ground we need." Spoke Fang.
"Hey did anyone else see color changes in the portal once we entered? " i thought this was supposed to be a green gate with low matured beasts. "
"Yes. I noticed it as well. What does it mean Fang?." Calvus added agreeing with Damon's concern.
"I'm not sure, that's never happened before, We are here now so it's no point in worrying about it until we have more information. Let's move."
Three hours later they came to an area with a waterfall and huge river. The water looked grey rather than blue. Dipping his hand in the water Damon snatched it back as it was unbelievably hot.
"The hell is with this water."
He shook his hand as it started to feel numb. Calvus poked his finger in the water as well and withdrew it just as fast.
"Holly crap that's hot."
"You thought I was kidding or something, that's not normal water."
" It seems you two have never heard of curiosity killing the cat. Look further down the river." Fang said.
They saw what he was referring to, further down was multiple areas that were boiling and creating a light steam.
The boiling spots began moving, In no time there were over several spots in the river that raced towards the bank they were on.
"It seems we have a little company, i was told to let you guys do everything alone, but until I get the information I need, I will assist a little."
Crawling out of the water were large beasts the size of a hippo with the resemblance of a crocodile. Their scales were green and yellow and along their backs were multiple pulsating volcano looking holes releasing hot steam.
Pulling the twin tomahawks from his back. He got into a fight stance.
Ding!
[You are prohibited to use weapons created by another in a battle until your full awakening . If you disobey any exp gained will be cut in half.]
Damon twisted his lips in aggravation as he placed them back in the sling.
"I forgot all about that stupid rule, I can't afford to lose experience, I have to level up."
Fang took out a curving blade, his eyes flashed icy blue as he swung with precision. The air around the blade turned cold creating three ice blades that shot out at breakneck speed.
Each one sliced halfway through three of the beasts and their bodies instantly became ice sculptures. With a dash, he dug the hilt of the sword into them making them shatter and in hit the ground. The beasts bodies instantly looked like frozen slabs of meat ready to be shipped off.
"You have two beasts a piece now, they look like trouble, but their low maturity. Take care of them quickly." He said while leaning against a tree.
They looked at him in awe briefly before facing their opponents.
Damon formed multiple clouds, shaping them into swords. They shot forward with a wave of his hands stabbing into the beasts. They growled in discomfort, but that was all. The cloud swords barely cut through the top layer of their skin.
Running forward Damon was thinking about how useless he was against the beast that almost killed him.
"That was a high matured grade 4 beast back then, these things aren't, but I won't make the mistake of taking them lightly." He thought jumping up twisting over them.
Landing behind them he launched forward with a readied fist until the second beast turned around.
A ball of hot steam shot from its mouth, twisting his body to the side and barely dodging the attack. He side stepped and drew back punching it on the top of its head.
The beast jaws snapped up taking the blow very well and nearly chomped down on his retracting fist. More clouds formed but this time Damon moved with his attacks.
After piercing both beasts at once, he then shaped clouds into a pair of tomahawks a gripped them firmly. Its polished marble like feel was cool to the touch.
Now as he dashed in, he swung with force, making shallow cuts, as his cloud shaped weapons weren't very strong. Pairing it with the cloud swords he created that manevoured in the air on his command. Damon would send the swords flying in on one side and attack up close from the opposite side weaving in and out of their reach.
The wounds his swords were making were shallow, but as he did it over and over their wounds became worse till the point where his cloud weapons penetrated deep enough for a killing blow.
Ding!

Damon was breathing pretty hard and the beasts were no longer moving. Thinking back to the high matured beast. He wanted to make sure by slicing of their heads.
It took a great number of swings, but he got the job done. Looking back.....Calvus had already finished his battle as well and was standing next to Fang.
Fang took out the tablet inserting a few things and then walked towards the dead beasts as a blue light scanned them.
"The tablets can also scan beasts for information and record it. Showing its levels, abilities and more. What I'm looking for now isssss..... Ha, there it is."
"Ok boys, It seems it's a beast that can be eaten. I advise you both to harvest parts of it for later. It's a reason you only have a day worth of food and water."
They both began cutting off parts of the beasts and skinning them. It took them a little over two hours. Like before, Fang took out his tablet, typed a few things in and shoved it back in his storage.
"He's recording our progress, every so often he takes out his tablet and jots things down. " Said Damon.
"Yes i know, My father helped design those things. Their supposedly a new coms device, These are just prototypes their testing." Calvus responded.
"We haven't properly met, i'm....."
"You're Damon blade, someone who's been living on the street most of their life. You have no real family or friends. You have been treated like shit because of your ability and you're supposedly a cursed slave." Said Calvus cutting him off.
Damons eyes began twitching as he instinctively balled up his fists. He couldn't tell if Calvus was being a prick or if he was just repeating information he heard.
"Relax, I do not believe in curses. " Calvus said transferring the meat in his storage pouch from his belt before he walked away.
Damon was left there by the river bank stumped. He wondered if that was Calvus way of saying he wasn't judging him, or was it his way of disrespecting him. Either way he took in a deep breath and pushed it out of his mind for now. The last thing he wanted was to let someone words rattle him.
"Hurry Damon, It would be best if we reach our destination by nightfall." Fang suggested.
A cloud appeared and in seconds the body parts and meat of the beasts were gone.
Fang and Calvus eyes widened in disbelief as Damon got up and walked towards them.
"What?."
Calvus and Fang glanced at eachother oddly before fang did his job and jotted things down.
"Dude, what do you mean, what. All of that stuff just wisped away within your cloud." Calvus spouted out.
"Ok so what, It's one of my ability perks, I can store things within my clouds. Well technically just one cloud. "
Calvus stopped walking and just stared at him like he was a mad man.
"Damon, People being able to store things in a dimensional storage with their own ability is unheard of, am I right fang."
" It seems that is so, However when it comes to abilities there are many unknown factors."
Calvus talked about the subject a little more while Fang just listened carefully as they traveled. They eventually came to a rocky hill and began climbing.
After reaching the top, they saw another large river that turned into a waterfall which was apart of the river they were just at below.
Unlike the earlier section of the river. The area they were in now didn't have those same beasts that turned the river into a huge boiling pot of water.
A ring on Fang's finger flashed, appearing was a machine that looked like a satellite. After pressing a few buttons a orange light began emmiting from the top.
Minutes later a familiar voice was heard, It was Mr. Bell. Their conversation lasted five minutes as that was the limit of the machine. It could only be used at a high point and could open a world connection for five minutes one time a day due to power consumption.
After one single use. It would take a full day for it to be charged well enough to be used again.
Mr. Bell informed them about the gate port and what occurred. He didn't know how exactly, but they were forced to another planet at the last second. A planet that wasn't considered a low matured beast planet for training. Instead, the planet they were on was calculated as one that had never been explored.
Witnessing the multicolored portal, which meant they were entering a world that harbored beasts of multiple maturity. Mr. Bell gave them a few words of caution.
His biggest concern was the color purple was also seen within the portal which had never been seen in a beast gate, or world port. Mr. Bell suggested the planet they were on was most likely very dangerous with beasts probably reaching the prime level.
Damon and Calvus had looks of despair all over them. Their moods changed almost instantly.
"How could something like this happen ?.... Where going to die out here. How long will it take for them to get our location?." Calvus asked with clear fear in his eyes.
Damon sat on the ground as his mind began drifting away, He didn't know what to say. He really didn't know how to feel, a part of him was worried and yet a part of him was actually a little intrigued with the situation .
