The next day Cheng Xiao was woken up with bile in her throat; she pushed Xu Kai aside and rushed to the bathroom. Xu Kai was woken up by the movement and followed her; she crunched down and started throwing up in the toilet.
"Cheng Xiao, are you sick?" Xu Kai asked as knelt beside her and held her hair in place and gently rubbed her back.
"I don't know, I think I ate something bad." Cheng Xiao said as she stood up and went to the sink and rinsed her mouth.
"Should we go to the hospital?" Xu Kai asked.
"No, I will go tomorrow if it is worse." Cheng Xiao replied.
"You need to rest a little more." Xu Kai said and helped Cheng Xiao back into the bed.
A notification suddenly went off on Cheng Xiao's phone; she reached and took the phone. When she opened the phone, she saw a message from Shen Mu who sent her a link to check what was posted on. On the forum was a picture of her and Xu Kai when he helped her on the yacht, when they were holiday.
Another picture was Cheng Xiao coming out of Xu Kai's room in the hotel; another one was when Xu Kai carried her out of the room when the incident happened. Down it was written that she was nothing more than a shameless slut who had resorted to seduce her boss and claimed that she was getting special treatment.
A breath was in her throat as she read the comments.
'I thought that she was a decent woman who knew she was a kept woman.' A comment read.
'No wonder she alone stayed as his assistant for seven years, and we all thought she was working hard, who knew she worked hard in a different direction.' Another comment said.
"What are you reading?" Xu Kai said when he saw her face turning white.
Cheng Xiao couldn't find the words to reply to him; Xu Kai snatched the phone and when he saw the post a cold fury rushed on his face, he took out his own phone and called his assistant.
"I will take of it; you are my legal wife so don't be scared." Xu Kai said turning her shoulders to face him.
"The comments." Cheng Xiao muttered, although she was strong this had been what she was always afraid of.
"It will be fine; you can stay at home today." Xu Kai said.
"No, like you said I am your wife and why should I hide, if I dared to accept you, I knew this day would come." She said with a smile.
