"Is that how you failed to be a rich man's wife?" Cheng Xiao asked with a hint of amusement.
"Y-you when did I do that?" The lady asked back.
"Who knows?" Cheng Xiao said.
"This office never miss an opportunity to run their mouths. What will you all say that I seduced a rich man and ended up marrying him?" Su Li's voice came from the outside.
"I wonder how mindless you people are. Since you know she is being backed by the CEO, why attack her, it is like you are jus begging to lose your jobs." Su Li scolded and walked to her seat.
"By they way as most of you know, my husband is his best friend which means that the CEO is basically my brother-in-law what do you think he do when he learns that his women is being trash talked in his office?" Su Li said sitting down and watched as their voices had had horror.
They were just talking and didn't think much about the consequences.
"You don't seem to remember Gu Xixi, even her uncle couldn't save her and he was an executive. What about you, do you have an executive uncle to save you from his wrath?" Su Li questioned resting her head in her palm and watched them as realization came down to them.
Who didn't remember the scene with Gu Xixi, she was always at odds with Cheng Xiao and after their trip she had been fired and even her uncle couldn't defend her. Her uncle was the executive and he could do nothing but watch as she got fired, at least Gu Xixi's family had money but them, what were they to do if they were to be fired.
That was why there was a saying to think before you speak, but them they were so engrossed in the gossip and forgot that when Cheng Xiao got to the design department, she had worked hard to get to where they are. They were following the crowd but now they were scared to lose their jobs.

"We were wrong please I don't want to be fired. This job all I have." A colleague pleaded.
She was the only breadwinner in the company and the salary she was paid her was enough to support her family, but if she were to be fired where else could she get a high paying job. How would be able to explain to her family that she lost this great job all because she chose to go and discuss the CEO's private life.
"I really hate it when people start talking about my private life like they know me." Cheng Xiao said with a deadpan face.
"Let this be a warning to you all, next time I won't care who he wants to fire." Cheng Xiao and they all bowed and thanked before scurrying to their places.
Now they understood why she had managed to be his assistant for seven years, it was not that she slept her way but she was as ruthless as he was. A match made in heaven.
