In the morning Cheng Xiao and Xu Kai arrived together in the office, everyone turned to look at them as they entered. Cheng Xiao ignore the eyes and whispers.
"Why are they coming together?" Someone asked.
"I think that there is something going between them." Another said.
"I always knew that there is something going on between them, I always thought she was not the type to seduce her boss." Someone said.
"She always acted so righteous when she is nothing but a golf digger." The lady said a little loud.
Cheng Xiao stopped in her tracks and turned towards the lady.
"If you have something to say then say it to my face." Cheng Xiao said to her.
"Why did you have to say it loud, do you want to get fired?" The lady next to her said and apologized to Cheng Xiao before pulling her friend away.
"Cheng Xiao, let's go!" Xu Kai called out.
Cheng Xiao decided to let it go and walked up to him and he took her hand and led her to his elevator. Once the elevator closed Xu Kai looked at Cheng Xiao.
"Should I fire them?" Xu Kai asked.
"That is a bit extreme." Cheng Xiao said.
"Isn't that what they deserve I pay them to work not to nosy themselves into my life." Xu Kai said senting a glare at the women who were gossiping.
"Leave them!" Cheng Xiao said and followed him to his elevator.
The elevator was only for executive, chairman and the CEO. Cheng Xiao used to use it the time she was still working as Xu Kai's assistant, her using it now only showed that she had a relationship with Xu Kai.
Cheng Xiao and Xu Kai entered the elevator, and Xu Kai took hold of her hand Cheng Xiao squeezed his hand and smiled.
"Don't worry, I am fine it won't bother me. Your family accepted me the way I am and I don't care what other people says." Cheng Xiao said and gave him a smile.
Xu Kai kissed her as the door opened to her floor, Cheng Xiao got out of the elevator and walked to her department. When she walked there were people gathered around and were talking but stopped when she entered.
"If it isn't the one who slept her way to keep the job." Someone said with a sneer.
"Why did you try, and it failed?" Cheng Xiao asked back.
"How shameless can you be?" Someone asked.
"Why is he not a human, and how did I sleep my way to keep the job. The designs that I make how much money did it bring to the company? How much did your designs bring to the table?" Cheng Xiao retorted shutting them up.
"All you know is how to run your mouths instead of working. You jealous because he is with me and never paid attention to anything that you wanted to do how hypocrital." Cheng Xiao said shaking her head.
"Cheng Xiao what is with the attitude, even if you have the CEO in your conner do you think that you will ever be his wife. Stop dreaming, a man like him will never make you his wife, all your plans are all pointless you will be a playtoy for him." Someone said.
