After going over the details a little longer, everyone had some idea of the kind of things they would have to expect.
Mia was away from them as she had already handed all of the paperwork and everything else to Cedric to go over.
She only came in and out to ask if they wanted a drink or a snack before disappearing again.
Laura was the first to speak up once everything had been mentioned. "It sounds good. It may be a little farther away than what I would have liked, but there is no helping it. A job is a job. Gotta take what we can get."
Ben nodded in response. "I agree. I could really use the cash right now."
Cedric rolled his eyes in response. "Same as always. You should start learning to manage your money better one of these days. What if one day you end up having a family?"
He teased Ben like it was natural for him to do so.
