Chapter 89 - Aguanga

Light hit my eyes, stirring me from a dead sleep.

The sound of a car in the distance helps bring me back to consciousness, but I keep my eyes closed for a few seconds before risking opening them.

Sunlight streaked through the trees, illuminating the dark clearing. 

How long did we sleep?

The last thing I remember was finishing the spell, then I passed out with Dylan right beside me.

Did it help?

'This is real.' As I stare at the beast sleeping beside me, I can't help but marvel that this was my brother. 

While his injuries haven't completely healed, they looked better than the night before. The wounds are closed, and he's having an easier time breathing. How bad is he that a full healing spell did the bare minimum?

'What did they do to him?' Something attempted to force itself into my head, but another force pushed it away. I'm not assaulted with memories, a shield of soft light surrounding my mind.
