Chapter 1 - Transmigrated into the Cultivation World

Yohan was a gaming maniac who loved playing the world's most popular cultivation game. He was one of the best and most famous players in the action genre during the cultivation era. Unfortunately, his life came to a ridiculous end while he was crossing the street—Truck-kun hit him with full force.

"Am I really going to die like this? I was just about to break through to the Heavenly Soul Realm! It took me six years to reach that peak... damn you, Truck-kun... you ruined my whole life!" Yohan cursed the vehicle from the bottom of his heart. He felt absolutely terrible knowing he was dying a virgin.

"What a shame, dying like this... how could this happen to me? I never hurt anyone, so why is God being so cruel to me? Why?" Yohan took his last breath, deeply regretting all the unachieved dreams that had shattered in a matter of moments.

[Meanwhile, somewhere else]

A bolt of lightning struck a young man who was walking in the middle of the road, lost in thought about the woman he loved. The young man screamed at the top of his lungs, but before he could even comprehend what was happening, he died instantly under the heavenly lightning that had descended out of nowhere.

The spot where the lightning struck turned completely barren, and the deafening boom could be heard for miles around. A mob quickly began to gather, drawn by the thunderous sound. Within moments, hundreds of people encircled the crater, their gazes landing on the young man lying on the scorched earth. His clothes had been completely blasted away, leaving him in tattered ruins.

Everyone assumed the young man had been killed by the strike. But then, something unexpected happened that took the crowd completely by surprise, causing their expressions to warp in disbelief.

The young man's body began to twitch violently, thrashing like a fish out of water. Trembling, he forced his eyes open and pushed himself up into a sitting position.

"What happened...?" Yohan mumbled, utterly bewildered. He remembered clearly that a moment ago, he was lying on the pavement taking his last breath. But as he looked down at his body, his face paled. Suddenly, a sharp pain spiked through his head as foreign memories began flashing before his eyes.

"I transmigrated into a different body..." Yohan muttered, cold sweat breaking out on his handsome face. He gathered his chaotic thoughts, closed his eyes, and tried to sift through the memories of the deceased young man. However, no matter how hard he tried, he could only recall a few fragments. He couldn't access everything, and his expression darkened as the reality of his current situation sank in.

"Shit! I reincarnated into a cultivation world, but why did I have to end up in the body of a piece of trash? Is it because the guy who died shared my name?" Yohan whispered to himself. From the scattered memories, he realized that the previous owner of this body was an absolute good-for-nothing, universally despised by everyone around him.

Taking a deep breath, Yohan finally looked down at himself. His face flushed bright red when he realized he was sitting in the middle of the street completely naked. The lightning strike had incinerated everything he was wearing. Now, he was entirely exposed, and the surrounding crowd was staring at him in utter shock. They couldn't believe their eyes—the notorious trash of the Lin Clan had not only survived a direct lightning strike, but he also appeared completely unharmed.

Everyone in the area recognized him. He was a famous young master, notoriously known for his shameless misdeeds, and the sole heir to the Lin Clan.

"You shameless bastard! What are you doing out here naked in the middle of the road? Did that lightning strike fry your brain too?" a cold, booming voice resounded in Yohan's ears, catching him off guard.

Without thinking, Yohan snapped his head toward the source of the voice. A few meters away stood a middle-aged man, glaring down at him with an expression of pure disdain and disbelief.

Yohan gulped nervously under that intense gaze. Suddenly, another wave of memories surfaced, and he instantly recognized the man. He realized that this middle-aged man was his new father, and the boy who had died a few minutes ago was his only son—also named Yohan.

The boy whose place Yohan had taken belonged to an incredibly wealthy and powerful family. His father was the Patriarch of the Lin Clan, the grandest clan in the Northern Region of the Phoenix Kingdom.

"Father!" The word slipped from Yohan's lips unconsciously as he stared back at the middle-aged man, who was giving him a death stare.

Hearing the word, the middle-aged man roared in fury. Looking at him, Yohan could tell the Patriarch was completely enraged by how disgraceful his only heir was being—sitting naked in the middle of the red-light district. Of course, the previous owner of the body had been a degenerate who frequented this place regularly.

"You..." Su Lin cursed, watching his own son drag the family name through the mud yet again. While this wasn't the first time, he still felt deeply dishonored—so much so that he felt like killing the boy right then and there.

Seeing the Patriarch of the Lin Clan looking ready to murder his own son, the onlookers concluded that the young master's luck had finally run out. Today, he would die by his own father's hand. Everyone knew the Patriarch's hot temperament; when blinded by rage, he was a madman capable of killing anyone in his path without a shred of remorse. Although Yohan was his only heir, the boy was a constant eyesore who possessed zero cultivation talent. While other youths his age had already broken through to the Body Awakening Realm, he remained completely incapable of gathering a single strand of Qi.

"You shameless disgrace! I am going to teach you a lesson you will never forget today! Fooling around, ruining my reputation... do you have no shame at all? You ungrateful bastard!" Su Lin roared, a palpable killing intent washing over his anger-creased face.

As his father's suffocating, threatening aura flared, Yohan felt his stomach churn with dread. The oppressive pressure terrified the surrounding crowd as well.

"Run for your lives! If the Patriarch loses his mind, we're all dead!"

"Yes, save yourselves! The Patriarch has gone mad!"

The onlookers screamed and scattered in a panic, completely abandoning Yohan. No one dared to help him, knowing the Patriarch was a high-level cultivator while they were just ordinary mortals. If Su Lin unleashed his power, they would be caught in the crossfire and obliterated instantly.

Within moments, the bustling street fell deathly silent. Only Su Lin and Yohan remained, locked in a tense standoff. However, overwhelmed by the crushing killing intent rolling off his father, Yohan's vision swam, and he lost consciousness, slumping backward onto the scorched earth.

"What do you think you are doing to my grandson? Do you actually intend to kill Yohan?"

A powerful voice echoed through the area, catching Su Lin completely off guard and instantly shifting the heavy atmosphere.

"Father! When did you arrive?" Su Lin gulped nervously, suddenly feeling an even more overwhelming aura press down on his body. He raised his head toward the sky, where an old man with a long white beard floated in the air.

The old man's eyes were fixed on his grandson, who lay unconscious and naked on the ground. This was Su Wan Lin, the former Patriarch and Grand Elder of the Lin Clan—Su Lin's father and Yohan's grandfather.

Looking down at his grandson, the old man let out a profound sigh. He then directed a stern gaze toward Su Lin, who was already breaking out in a cold sweat.

"I will take him with me. You may leave. We will speak at the clan later," the old man commanded, his voice making Su Lin tremble.

"Yes, Father," Su Lin replied, bowing his head reluctantly in obedience. He cast one final glance at Yohan before flying away, leaving the entire matter in his father's hands.

The Grand Elder descended gracefully from the sky, approaching the naked youth. He surveyed the barren, lightning-blasted crater, gently stroking his long white beard.

"The heavenly lightning didn't harm him at all... Su Lin, that fool, didn't even notice that his son survived a miracle. He should be rejoicing that his only son is unharmed, but alas... I suppose I cannot blame him entirely," the old man muttered, a sorrowful expression passing over his face.

Gently scooping Yohan into his arms, the old man vanished into thin air like a ghost, leaving the empty crater behind.
