Chapter 5 - The First Fight

Seeing those four laughing at him, Yohan took a deep breath. He observed his surroundings, noting how the crowd simply watched the scene as if they were enjoying a movie.

'These inhuman bastards. No one is willing to lift a finger. On top of that, the previous owner of this body surely ruined his reputation among these people. My luck is truly terrible this time,'Yohan thought to himself taking another deep breath to calm his nerves.

'Whatever. I am not that Yohan anymore. But these guys are not that strong,I can feel it,they are mortals not Cultivators, thing might became difficult for me if they gang up on me? 'Yohan thought, glancing at the four men staring back at him with pure killing intent.

"You bastard, you must have a death wish," one of the men sneered, approaching Yohan with a malicious smile. He sized Yohan up from head to toe.

Yohan let out a quiet sigh at the man's overconfident expression, but he remained composed. He waited for the right opening. That opportunity came immediately as the man approached with his guard completely down, fully convinced he could handle Yohan on his own, afterall yohan was not a high Cultivator,he was feeling nothing from him.

"What are you looking at, monkey? You came alone, but feel free to call your other monkey friends. I'd love to take you all on together," Yohan said, baiting him with a smirk.

"What did you call me? Do i look like monkeys to you, you cheeky little bastard?" the man barked feeling offended with yohan's remark.

Yohan's smile widened. "You spineless bastard go to hell!"

The next instant, Yohan swung his leg with all his might, delivering a devastating kick right between the man's legs without holding back an ounce of strength.

"Ah... motherfucker... this bastard broke my balls!" the man screamed at the top of his lungs. He collapsed to his knees and, a moment later, was rolling on the road, desperately clutching his crotch with both hands.

Alongside Ana, everyone in the crowd was left speechless. A dead silence fell over the street as they witnessed the seemingly impossible. The woman stared at Yohan, her eyes wide with shock. Her nose was still bleeding, but tears began to roll down her cheeks; this was the first time someone had ever stood up for her, leaving her overwhelmed with emotion.

Yohan didn't waste the opportunity. He followed up by kicking the groaning man square in the face, sending him skidding a few meters away. The man slammed against a wall and instantly blacked out.

"Y-You... you dare hit us, you fucker?! Lord Nicholas is going to skin you alive! Just wait your turn!" another man roared, charging toward Yohan to avenge his shamelessly defeated comrade.

[Superman Punch]

"What the hell?!" The charging man caught sight of a flying fist hurtling toward him at incredible speed. He tried to dodge, but it was already too late.

Yohan's fist collided squarely with the man's throat. The strike was exceptionally hard, targeting a highly vulnerable spot. Having been a biology student back on Earth, Yohan knew exactly where the human body was weakest. The man clutched his throat with both hands, spat out a mouthful of blood, and collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

Yohan let out a slow exhale and tilted his head toward the remaining two men.

"Hey. Two of your buddies are down. Do you two want to join them, or do you want to get lost and save your own skins?" he asked, gesturing toward the unconscious bodies on the ground.

Seeing the cold killing intent in Yohan's eyes, the remaining two men began to shiver with fear. Their leader had been utterly humiliated in public. If Lord Nicholas found out about this failure, he would surely have them killed anyway. They gulped, weighing the terrifying consequences.

"We'll remember this, bastard! Just you wait!"

Exchanging frantic glances, the two men bolted in completely opposite directions, abandoning their fallen teammates on the street. Yohan watched them run and exhaled deeply.

"What great teammates. Abandoning their friends in a crisis... those two are incredibly shameless," he muttered.

His gaze then shifted back to the woman. Up close, her beauty was striking despite the numerous bruises and wounds marring her skin. Her nose was still bleeding.

Those bastards didn't hesitate to hurt her at all, Yohan thought, his blood boiling with anger. However, he knew there was no point dwelling on it now. He approached her, his expression softening.

"Come with me. We need to treat those injuries before they get any worse. You're hurt badly," Yohan said gently.

"Um..." She stiffened at his words. She hadn't expected such maturity and kindness from someone so young.

Noticing her hesitation, Yohan shook his head reassuringly. "Don't worry, you are safe with me. I am the heir of the Lin clan, Yohan Lin. I give you my word that you'll be safe. Come along; those men might return with reinforcements. It isn't safe for you out here on the open road."

Upon hearing his name, the woman's face turned pale. Everyone knew the Lin clan was a mighty power—one of the major ruling families. Realizing she was standing before the young master of such a clan, she immediately dropped to her knees and bowed low.

"I am sorry. Because of me, the young master had to go through so much trouble. I will never forget this favor," she said, keeping her eyes glued to the dirt.

Yohan scratched his head, feeling incredibly awkward. "You don't need to do all that. Just stand up and follow me."

The woman nodded and stood. She had nowhere else to go, and he was right—if those men returned, she would be defenseless. She quietly fell into step behind him.

Meanwhile, the crowd continued to stare at Yohan in absolute disbelief. They had never seen this side of him before. The current Yohan exuded a completely different aura—commanding, powerful, and deeply intimidating.

A few paces away, Ana looked at Yohan as if she were seeing a ghost. This was absolutely not the Yohan she knew. The old Yohan was a worthless piece of trash who wouldn't dare swat a mosquito, a sore loser who lived in constant fear of a beating. He only knew how to bully the weak servants inside the Lin clan estate. This new version left her completely in denial.

Yohan's gaze snapped over to Ana. "Follow me. I need your help," he commanded.

Ana went rigid. After a few seconds of frantic hesitation, she nodded numbly and hurried to follow behind Yohan and the woman he had just rescued.
