Chapter 3 - Cultivation Realm

Yohan nervously swallowed a mouthful of saliva as he looked at the woman. His heart began to beat faster and louder when he noticed the deep affection in her eyes.

Slowly, she approached his bed and sat down beside him. She looked into his eyes and offered a bitter smile, clearly still processing the harsh words he had spoken to his father earlier. Yet, to his relief, she wasn't angry.

"I know you are angry with your father, son, but he isn't wrong," Alena said, taking a deep breath before pulling Yohan into a warm hug. "He only wants you to become someone capable of leading this clan."

Taken aback by her sudden movement, Yohan froze as his heart pounded violently against his ribs. Yet, as he rested in her embrace, an overwhelming sense of comfort washed over him. This woman was his mother. He chose not to move, melting into her gentle warmth.

What is this feeling? he thought to himself. In his past life, Yohan had been an orphan, losing his parents when he was just a child. Right now, wrapped in Alena's arms, all of his lingering worries and anxieties completely vanished.

"Mother, I'm just..." Yohan looked up at her, but the words died in his throat.

Alena smiled tenderly at him. "It's okay, you don't have to say anything. I'm just glad you're alright. You must be hungry, aren't you? I'll go arrange some food for you." She kissed his forehead gently as she spoke.

A few moments later, Alena left the room to fetch his meal. Yohan silently watched her departure. Since arriving in this strange new world, she was the first person to show him genuine kindness. The dreadful, lingering trauma of almost being killed by that man still haunted his soul.

Dazed, Yohan sat alone on the bed, trying to figure out his next move. Though he hadn't fully recovered his memories, fragments of the past were beginning to resurface.

"So, the previous Yohan was nothing but a bastard and a sore loser," Yohan muttered, cursing the original owner of his body. "He flaunted his clan's status just to chase after the Senior Sister of the Divine Blossom Sect, constantly making a fool of himself in front of everyone. What an absolute idiot. He caused so much trouble despite having everything at his disposal."

He sighed deeply. "Well, I need to understand my current situation first. Let's dive deeper into this guy's memories and learn more about this world."

Closing his eyes, Yohan focused on retrieving the remaining pieces of the original owner's past. Though many memories were hazy, he pushed through the fog. A few moments later, his face drained of color as a shocking realization hit him.

"What the hell? How is this possible?" he mumbled, his voice trembling. "The cultivation system of this world is identical to the cultivation game I used to play back on Earth! Even the realms are exactly the same. What kind of sick joke is destiny playing on me?"

He carefully reviewed the known cultivation realms in his mind:

-Body Awakening Realm

-Body Strengthening Realm

-Core Formation Soul Realm

-True Spirit Soul Realm

-Earth Soul Realm

-Heavenly Soul Realm

-Nascent Soul Realm

-Divine Soul Realm

The Divine Stages

-Divine Lord Realm

-Divine Monarch Realm

-Divine God Realm

According the previous owner body the peak of this world were Heavenly soul realm, which was surprising.

"Right now, I am merely at the first level of the Body Awakening Realm. Anyone could kill me with ease," Yohan whispered. "But that's not even my biggest problem..."

His face grew incredibly pale as a deeper truth surfaced from his memories.

"I transmigrated into the body of a dual cultivator? This is bad... In my previous life, I gathered orthodox Qi and was on the verge of breaking through to the Heavenly Soul Realm. But with this body's current constitution, I can only cultivate by interacting with a partner!"

According to his new memories, he was currently a disciple of the Divine Blossom Sect—a faction that focused entirely on dual cultivation, a practice where two people of the opposite gender paired up to advance their strength through intimate acts. He was currently in River Shore City, a territory controlled by the Lin Clan within the borders of the Phoenix Kingdom.

"I have to find a way to improve my cultivation, fix my terrible reputation, and become powerful. In this weak body, I won't survive any hidden dangers," he muttered, taking a deep breath to calm his racing thoughts.

A few minutes later, a soft knock echoed through the room. When Yohan opened the door, he found a young maid standing before him, nervously holding a tray of food.

"Young Master, I have brought some food for you, as Lady Alena ordered," the maid said. She kept her gaze lowered, her posture tense and guarded.

"Just leave the tray on the table. Thank you for bringing it to me," Yohan replied, offering her a polite, reassuring smile despite dealing with his frighnting situation he wanted to calm himself and act normal.

The maid froze, completely bewildered wondering 'Why didn't the young master scream at me or throw a tantrum this time? '. Trembling slightly, she nodded, hurriedly set the tray on the table, and rushed out of the room without looking back.

"That absolute bastard," Yohan muttered, cursing the original owner of his body once again for bullying the staff. "Whatever. I'm starving. I'll figure the rest of this out after I eat." He took a deep breath and finally dug into his food.

Meanwhile, down in the kitchen...

"Are you absolutely sure he didn't yell at you or try to touch you?" an older servant woman asked in a low whisper, washing utensils next to the young maid.

The maid nodded frantically, still trying to catch her breath. "I was terrified when I walked into his room, but he didn't try anything at all this time."

"I wonder what happened to him," the older woman mused, looking toward the hallway.

"Who knows," the maid responded, swallowing hard as a wave of relief washed over her. "I'm just glad I made it out of there safely."
