Chapter 13 - Black Orc

Within a battlefield, there's only one monster that sends out an ominous, sinister Aura. All the monsters stayed away from this for some reason.

Flame only thinks of escaping since there's no way of beating them. He looks around as fast as he can. You can't get in the gate since it is only one way out. Perhaps running in the opposite direction to introduce chasing? But Kashi is slower than flame so Kashi can die first if he tries to escape.

Before Flame thinks of any other possible way of escaping, in a mere second, that orc appears right in front of Flame. Unable to think as the orc kicked him, that feeling is so powerful that he got blasted towards the tree. It makes a dent in the tree. That feeling on the back hurts like hell as he coughs off some of the blood out of his mouth.

"Flame!" He was shocked due to how fast this thing was. But before he says anything else, Orc appears behind Kashi as it is about to slice him off with the black sword. Kashi knows that he's about to die but tries to guard with his rocky spear.

Of course, his reaction is slow.

The sound of blades clashing together as it echoes. Flame successfully blocked Orc sword by throwing a chained dagger and it was heated. Flame knew he had to go all out, so he put all the Flame into the dagger and had his guard up.

Kashi took a step back as he wondered, "How? We have seen nothing like that before. This dark, radiant aura. Is it because of the purple crystal? No, that was different. Darkness cannot be that evil. Curse maybe?" He's unable to find some answer as the Orc begins to charge at Flame.

Flame charges at Orc as he swung his heated dagger in his left hand onto the orc blade. It is still too powerful; he cannot win with his strength alone. However, he is used to it since he is trained to fight in a situation like that. He has his other dagger in his right hand to stab Orc's belly. Orc notices his pattern as he adjusts his sword and blocks the dagger.

Kashi appeared behind him and went for the punch, using the rocky shield on the orc's face. It was a critical blow, but it does not matter since he can withstand Kashi's blow. "I hate distraction. Failure." The orc mutters with the repeated word failure.

But this does not stop Flame as he saw an opportunity to use his Flame onto his foot as he kicked his face. As he uses his dagger to strike him consecutively. Kashi can keep up as he hits them using a lance and the shield that was made from the rock. But with each hit, it keeps breaking due to Orc's thick skin. The plan was to overwhelm Orc, as Flame and Kashi could reach each other's movement as they're working together. Orc couldn't do anything but to guard.

Finally, Kashi grabs an Orc black sword. With his glove, he can bend or change any earth or metal so he breaks the sword when he tightens his hand on the sword. The sword is no longer used as the Orc sinister aura from the sword is gone. This weakens him.

Now to worry about his super speed and strength. Flame tries to not waste any time as he delivers a final blow by aiming onto his neck with his heated chain. However, this does not stop the orc as he gives out a stronger aura, making a huge wind around the forest. As he blasts off Kashi and Flame. Flame and Kashi can only block the wind in front of them, trying not to fall behind.

"Damn, he still has more energy?" Kashi said, panting, feeling tired as he glanced at Flame. He was also exhausted. If this drags on, the orc will win. Escape is our only option, but how? Before he knew it, Orc began to charge, as it was about to punch. Kashi grabs dirt as he pulls up, making a wall as he holds tight with his rock shield. When the orc punches the wall, then his shield, Kashi still gets blasted as he falls on the ground.

Flame throws a heated chain as it wraps the orc's arm, burning off their skin. "Not Failure!" Orc screams as he pulls the chain. Flame had to resist by pulling as well. But the orc quickly dashes towards him as he throws a clean punch toward the flame. Instead of blasting, the orc grabs Flames's clothes and raises them in the air.

Flame knows he is going to die. Kashi struggles to get up. The pain was overwhelming, unable to move. But then a tremendous blast of water from the distance as the orc lets go Flame as he flies in the air.

"Honestly, you guys are so weak." Liana shows herself with her umbrella as her other hand with a water orb. It is clear that she specializes in Water elemental, but to think she has much magical power to easily blast away an orc. "You men aren't even good at fighting." She slowly walks as she scans around.

"Still, to think we found it strange by the fact that monsters are running away and that an extensive amount of energy is in that same direction. We didn't think we would meet them that early." Shannon appears as she walks toward Kashi. "Eat this, you'll heal in no time." She smiles as she gives them a healing potion.

Liana tosses the healing potion toward Flame. "Get up. We need to beat this thing. My magic does not deal significant damage."

Orc gets up as he keeps muttering failure. Shannon observes the orc and his black aura. "He doesn't feel any pain. As if that monster is a zombie." She begins to show multiple light orbs as she flips her hair.

After Flame and Kashi drank the potion, they still struggle to get up, but they're feeling much better.

Liana taunts the orc as Flame and others get into their stance, "Let go for round two." She said, holding a water bubble in her hand.

Orc stalls for a few seconds, creating tension on the battlefield. Now there are more people to fight, Flame wonders when the orc's next move. Strike Flame first? Or strike Liana since she's the one that blasted him away? What will he do?

Suddenly Orc begins to flee into the forest with incredible speed. There's no way for us to catch up to the Orc.

"H-Huh? Why did he leave?" Kashi was baffled.

"Does it know that he has no chance of winning?" Shannon wonders as she makes multiple orbs disappear."

Liana was frustrated. "I don't care, let's follow that monster!" She stomps her feet on the ground many times.
