Flame went back to the Inn, while Kashi was waiting for him. As soon as Kashi spotted Flame and shakes his head. "Liana wouldn't take us lightly since we're late." He crosses his arm after he signs. Flame groan and understood what he was talking about. "Let's go."
By the time they arrived at the meeting place, which is outside the restaurant. Luckily it's a sunny day, it's really beautiful outside with people bursting into the city. Although it is recently built, it's bursting with activities and fun events that no children want to miss. That reputation of "Freedom" truly lives on that day.
That mood suddenly change when Flame and Kashi spotted Liana with a heavy dark cloud above her head. She's furious. Shannon just here drinking her tea as if she's used to her short-tempered. When they meet they had to face her wrath for a while.
Shannon had a slight giggle, "Oh Liana, you only want to shop after this, the meeting won't take that long."
"I know, but the earlier, the better!!" she flares back.
Kashi signs to Flame telling him she's crazy. Flame nodded in agreement.
After for awhile, the meeting kinda officially starts. Shannon starts the conversation since she's the one that hosts it.
"So do you remember what happens when we battle an orc?"
They remember since it's a recent battle. It is unusually stronger than any of the Orcs. If not for their teamwork. They would all die. This strength is equal to an A rank, and it took 4 A ranks to take one down. Kashi Is C rank. Under normal circumstances, he would die immediately, however, thanks to his bulk body and history of blacksmith, he has an unusually high defense which makes him better as a tank. Flame is B rank. B rank is the most experienced fighter and the most common for veteran Adventures, He reached that rank since he works hard for it.
Liana and Shannon are both A rank due to High magical powers. Although Shannon is more experience, She already graduated from Magic Academy. Liana has unusually high Magic power that can easily be A rank. That's why Orc has been pushed back.
"The lab result came back, but it's still incomplete though it is evident that activities came from Void Cult and that Black Element is Void."
"Void…" Kashi Muttered himself
Liana jumps in "Though it's likely they experiment with some live monster and strengthening them. Though I remember that monster saying 'Failure' I estimate that he's a product of failed experiment And who knows what happens if it's successful?" They all sat in silence. If an S rank monster would appear, It can destroy the city with countless casualties.
Kashi tries to wipe his thoughts away "What about this Cult thing? Isn't it forbidden to worship something that can harm people?" He asked.
"While it's true, it is forbidden the law cannot stop them, who knows how many of them are out there." Shannon drinks her tea before continuing. Then she grabs a piece of paper from the notes as she draws "Though it is easier to spot if they have a tattoo on their body."
"Then why would they reveal something like that wouldn't someone report it to authority?" Kashi asked while paying attention to the drawings.
"Pride" Liana said bluntly
"Huh?"
"The cult for some reason, pride is the only word they thought of."
"That makes no sense"
"Exactly."
Shannon's drawings are a bit niche, but it's easy to tell. It shows a shaded black heart-shaped with wings on the left. "That is the tattoo they wear, It is hard to tell since they always hide it or cover tattoos with a different tattoo."
"So that means Shiber might be the one since he is covered in a tattoo?" Kashi asked afraid since he's the one of top 10 heroes' strongest.
"Let's not assume" Liana interrupted.
Flame looks at the drawing but can't help but feel familiar that he sees it multiple times. Then he recalled that's on the cave that Flame and Kashi visited. It has the same art on the wall. He hasn't talked during this whole meeting, but he understood everything thanks to lip-reading and Kashi interpreting. He turned to Kashi, "Hey do you remember we went to the dungeon at that time?"
"Hmm… Yeah…?"
"That's the same drawing you see on paper."
"Really?... wait Ohhhhhh," Kashi recalled. Liana and Shannon had a confused look.
Kashi then explained their experience in the dungeon.
Shannon immediately stand up and snapped her finger "We have to see that!"
"Yeah we will, we just need approval, but I doubt it since the cave collapsed on its own."
Liana groans. "Of course, you guys would mess up our only leads." She lies on the table feeling lost since that's only lead to graduation.
Kashi rejected her blame. "It wasn't us, there's someone else that kills almost all of us. We're just lucky to survive."
Liana averted her eyes to Kashi. "Huh who?"
"I don't know, but all I remember is that he has white hair and gray eyes. He seems to be afraid of something."
Shannon has thought of his feature. "Isn't it codename: Grey?"
"The most wanted criminal?" Liana was shocked.
"Wait, you think that's him? No wonder our team was wiped out." Kashi felt the shiver all around his body and is lucky that he survived.
Flame is the only person who doesn't know about him.
Three guys in a suit came up to them. They're all astonished by their clothing as if they come from the royals. They all wore Sunglasses with freshly cut haircuts, they were all well-built. Suited for bodyguards. One of them in the middle is smoking. While unsure what to do with their presence they ask a simple question and yet leave everyone shocked.
"Is anyone know Kashi Chancelot?" One on the right asked. They all looked at Kashi as if they heard his name.
Liana can't help but ask. "Chancelot? You mean THAT Chancelot?"
"Top 4 strongest hero Chancelot? And he's part of that??" Shannon is stunned.
Kashi can't help but feel embarrassed. He quickly looks away.
Everyone didn't take that long to figure out who he is. The son of the 4th strongest man in the world.
