"Where exactly are you guys coming from?" Solomon asked.
Instead of offering a polite response, the assassins charged. Their attacks were flawlessly coordinated. As soon as one cultist swung a blade, another prepared to strike from the flank, perfectly timing their movements so a new attacker stepped in the moment the previous one retreated.
Solomon anchored his boots against the stone and executed the second form of the Eden Imperial Sword Arts. He snapped his hips forward and unleashed a devastating horizontal sweep, slashing every single attacker down in one massive arc of kinetic energy.
He lowered his greatsword and looked up once again to make sure his eyes were functioning correctly. There was literally nothing above him besides clouds and stars.
He then walked to the edge of the watchtower and glanced down into the courtyard below. He saw nothing out of the ordinary.
