Several palace sentries spotted the white-haired royal and rushed forward. "We will escort Princess Elizabeth to her guest quarters immediately!"
"No thanks," Solomon rejected the offer instantly, entirely unwilling to trust the local military after Lord Jian's earlier confession about corrupted knights.
He dragged Elizabeth through the winding marble corridors, initially heading toward her assigned room before abruptly changing his mind. He bypassed the standard guest wing completely, bringing her directly to Princess Syra's premium quarters where Yue currently resided.
