Chapter 7 - The Silent loss

Morning arrived quietly.

But the world had already begun changing.

South Korea

Near the ruined outskirts of Seoul, military helicopters circled above a forest that had suddenly become the center of attention.

But what they saw below was horrifying.

A massive circular area nearly 10 kilometers wide had been completely annihilated.

Trees were gone.

Soil had been torn apart.

The ground itself looked melted and shattered as if a gigantic force had erupted from a single point.

In the center of that destruction…

A body was lying on the ground.

It was Namjhoo Kim.

His chest had been pierced straight through.

The wound passed directly through his heart.

Investigators who studied the scene were confused.

Because the pattern of destruction looked exactly like the attacks Namjhoo himself was capable of producing.

One officer whispered nervously,

"…Are you saying he did this to himself?"

Another investigator shook his head slowly.

"No."

"This level of destruction… someone stronger than him must have forced it."

But whoever had done it had already vanished.

There were no footprints.

No energy traces.

Nothing.

Just silence.

United States — Morning

Sunlight slipped through the curtains of a quiet hotel room in the United States.

The room looked messy.

Clothes were scattered across the floor.

The bedsheets were tangled.

It was obvious what had happened during the night.

On the bed, Manasvi was sleeping quietly.

Her head rested on Franklin Tyson's chest.

For once, the normally calm and dangerous woman looked peaceful.

After a few moments, she slowly opened her eyes.

Realizing the situation, her cheeks turned slightly red.

"…Tch."

Carefully, she slipped out of his arms and walked toward the bathroom.

The shower started running.

Minutes later she stepped out, now fully dressed again.

Her usual composed expression had returned.

She sat down on the sofa and stretched slightly.

Then she muttered under her breath.

"Idiot…"

Her phone lay on the table.

She picked it up and dialed a number.

Namjhoo Kim.

The call rang.

But no one answered.

She frowned.

"…Busy?"

She called again.

Still nothing.

Her irritation grew.

"This idiot…"

"How dare he ignore me."

She leaned back on the sofa, crossing her arms.

"When I see him next time, I'm going to beat him."

She had no way of knowing.

Thousands of kilometers away…

In the destroyed land near Seoul…

Namjhoo Kim's body was already lying cold on the ground.

And the person responsible for his death…

Had left no trace behind.

and was in that forest

The destroyed forest outside Seoul was still surrounded by military vehicles and investigators.

Soldiers, police officers, and scientists were examining the enormous 10-kilometer annihilation zone where Namjhoo Kim had died.

Helicopters circled above.

Drones scanned the ground.

Yet none of them realized something terrifying.

The real culprit was still there.

Standing quietly among the trees.

A teenage boy.

His name was Nikhil Ranjan.

He looked ordinary at first glance—just another teenager wandering through a forest.

But his presence was completely hidden.

No sensor could detect him.

No human could feel him.

His eyes slowly opened.

The sclera was pitch black.

And his pupils glowed purple.

He looked at the soldiers investigating the battlefield.

"…Humans are so slow."

The boy raised his hand slightly.

An invisible sphere began forming around him.

It expanded.

Ten meters.

Fifty meters.

One hundred meters.

Then it stopped at two kilometers.

Inside that invisible boundary…

Everything began to distort.

Grass.

Trees.

Air.

Even the ground itself.

The space inside the sphere was Nikhil's Domain.

A power he called:

Destruction Field.

Inside the field, matter didn't break normally.

It disintegrated at the atomic level.

Anything living.

Anything non-living.

Everything.

If it existed inside the domain…

It ceased to exist.

Within seconds the entire 2-kilometer area became empty.

Soldiers.

Vehicles.

Trees.

Animals.

Even microscopic organisms.

All vanished.

Reduced to nothing.

Not dust.

Not ashes.

Just nonexistence.

Nikhil stretched his neck slightly.

"Work done."

But his expression quickly turned bored.

He looked toward the sky.

"…Still not enough."

The purple glow in his eyes intensified.

The invisible domain expanded again.

Ten kilometers.

Fifty kilometers.

Hundreds.

Until it covered all of South Korea…

And then continued further.

Reaching into North Korea as well.

Inside that vast area, an unimaginable phenomenon occurred.

Cities.

Buildings.

People.

Mountains.

Infrastructure.

Every structure created by humanity.

Everything living.

Everything physical.

All of it began disintegrating at the atomic level.

Entire populations disappeared within seconds.

No explosions.

No sound.

Just silent erasure.

When the domain finally faded…

Two entire nations had vanished from existence.

Nikhil floated slightly above the ground.

He looked down at the empty landmass.

"…Worthless people."

He stepped forward.

Space distorted.

And in the next moment he appeared thousands of kilometers away.

Above the skies of Myanmar.

Floating calmly in the air.

Clouds drifted beneath him.

Cities stretched below.

Nikhil looked down with a Maniac smile and said

"Next target is here."

Far away across the world…

Governments had not yet realized what had happened.

But within minutes…

Humanity would understand something terrifying.

A being had appeared who could erase entire nations effortlessly.

And his name was Nikhil Ranjan.
