09:00 AM (The morning after the destruction of the SG warehouse)
Commissioner Sinclair's Office – Police Headquarters
Sinclair sits at his desk, staring at this morning's headlines. His previously dull face now shows a glimmer of hope. Opposite him, Ren sits calmly, while Den stands by the window, observing the city.
In Ironport, a promise is the most valuable currency. Ren had promised that her "Father" would help Sinclair clean up the city's mess, and this morning, that promise was kept in a truly dramatic fashion.
A Gift for the Commissioner
"Have you seen the news this morning, Sinclair?" Den asked in his steady baritone.
Sinclair nodded quickly. "The raid on the Steel Group warehouse in Sector 4. Their entire leadership is either dead or arrested, and thousands of illegal weapons have been seized. But... who did it? Field reports mention an 'unknown group' arriving before our units."
Ren gave a thin smile, sipping her coffee. "Isn't the result what matters most, Commissioner? The largest criminal group supplying weapons to minor factions has fallen overnight. And thanks to the swift coordination of Detective Selina—the new recruit my Father sent—all the evidence is now under your control."
Ren slid a blue folder across the desk toward Sinclair. "These are the original ownership documents for Steel Group. Use them to declare that this was a 'Secret Operation' you personally designed during the two-week lull. The world will see you as the hero who took down Ironport's biggest arms cartel."
Rebuilding Sinclair's Throne
Sinclair trembled as he opened the folder. This was his survival ticket. By claiming the destruction of SG as his own achievement, the internal investigation against him would be dropped. His position would be secure, and he would once again be the "Lion" of Ironport in the public eye.
"Why... why are you doing this for me?" Sinclair whispered, looking at Ren with a sense of gratitude that was almost pathetic.
"Because this city needs stability," Ren replied with a tone of fabricated concern. "And Father believes that under your leadership, we can build a better Ironport. We don't need thanks, Sinclair. We only need cooperation."
Sinclair stood and saluted Den. "I owe my life and my career to you, High Commissioner. Whatever you need, my department is yours."
The Other Side of Victory
Upon leaving Sinclair's office, Ren and Den walked down the busy police corridors. They crossed paths with **Selina** and **Ricky**, who were busy directing the transfer of SG evidence to the police storage units.
"Everything going according to plan?" Den asked quietly as they met at the elevator.
"The 'less important' evidence is in Sinclair's hands," Selina reported professionally. "But 40% of the heavy weapon supplies and SG's latest prototypes 'vanished' in transit. Garry has already stashed them at the Sector 7 warehouse."
"Good," Ren said. "Let Sinclair have his victory in the newspapers. We have the real firepower in our hands."
Report to HQ
Back in Sector 7, Rion monitored Sinclair's sudden press conference on the monitors. He watched Sinclair give a confident speech about the "Silent Police Operation."
"He looks very convincing," **Mia** murmured while typing new encryption codes.
"Let him enjoy the stage," Rion replied coldly. "The higher he climbs thanks to our help, the more shattered he'll be when we eventually withdraw our support. Now, with SG leveled to the ground, Ironport no longer has any weapon suppliers besides... us."
Nero Familia had just accomplished something more than a heist: they had monopolized violence in Ironport, with the police themselves acting as their legal shield.
