The mighty Goliath was sent bursting through the building, tearing another hole through the van.
Perplexed, Einstein and Ghostness knew she shouldn't be able to do that. But Eva smiled and whispered, "I guess that jerk was right."
Eva felt overjoyed; this was what she had always dreamed of, and what better targets than these three villains, the ones she loathed the most.
Goliath groaned in agonizing pain. As he stood up, shaking the pain off his head, he was slapped through the van once more, this time even harder, to the point where he blasted through various buildings behind.
Eva couldn't risk him joining the fight; she could handle them one at a time, but all three of them at once would be a problem.
"Woah, she smashed him across a thousand meters," Eagle informed them.
In other words, it would take at least ten minutes before Goliath arrived.
Having heard that, Ghostness clicked her tongue. "You should pay more attention to what's going on around you," she grinned.
Before Eva realized it, it was too late; Einstein's detached wrist had already crawled to her breast.
Before she could react, the wrist grabbed her by the throat and pinned her hard against the wall.
"Get the kid out of here, we'll handle her."
Little did she know, Eva was just getting started. Every nearby object quickly floated around her; cars, poles, anything that could smash through the building.
The objects floated on top of the Jeju Orphanage home; she was going to level the building.
Ghostness was stunned. From manipulating gravity with her palm, Eva was now able to bend gravity with her mind?
Just what did she learn from that academy, and it had only been two weeks since she left.
"Tsk, you're bluffing." Again, Ghostness was wrong. Eva might be in the hero academy, but hell, she was once a villainess.
In other words, she didn't care what happened to anyone in the building. Her furrowed eyebrows said it all.
But before everything came smashing through the building, it suddenly stopped.
Eva felt something else, or rather someone else, preventing her gravity command.
It was Aiden.
"What the fuck?" Einstein's heart skipped a beat, and his throat instantly felt dry the moment he saw Aiden through the hole of the broken building. "I know him."
Without being told, he let go of Eva; his wrist crawled back to him.
"Come, Ghost, we have to get out of here now," he urged.
But clearly, Ghostness didn't have the slightest clue about the man approaching the building from across the hotel.
"What?"
All of a sudden, they began hearing an enormous sound heading towards them.
"Evaaaaaa!!!!"
The voice roared. Ghostness knew exactly who that was; Goliath ran through every building.
The closer he came to the orphanage home, the bigger he became.
That was because Goliath's ability was radioactive neurology; the more anger he felt in his head, the bigger and stronger he became.
You could see that from the red, glowing, fat veins on his body, neck, and even his forehead.
Eva knew she was cooked; she quickly leaped into the air to avoid direct confrontation with Goliath.
"Hmph, they're cooked," Ghostness grinned. This fight was already won; nothing could handle Goliath's extreme radioactive energy.
But she wouldn't deny it. Regardless of the commotion, Aiden still kept walking towards him calmly.
That alone sent shivers down her spine.
Soon, Goliath burst through; he was pissed. But when he saw what was going on, his target became Aiden.
"You'll be next," Goliath roared, simply referring to Eva.
"Tsk, that fool. I better get out of here quickly," the latter thought.
"Goliath smaaaaash!" the villain yelled. He lunged at Aiden with both gigantic arms, ready to turn this human into pounded paste.
However, Eva had only flown a few meters when something passed her extremely fast; she didn't even see what it was.
But when she looked down, Goliath wasn't there anymore.
"Minor villains," Aiden muttered.
Einstein swallowed hard. Of all people, he should have known better, but Ghostness wouldn't listen.
Her pride and ignorance were replaced with a facade of fear.
She felt her lips shaking to the point where she involuntarily had to ask, "Who is he?"
"That's what I've been trying to tell you. He's one of the seven masters of deception; he's number one."
Einstein explained, but Ghostness was still having her doubts. Why would their master, Fallen, send his personally handpicked villain to fetch a simple kid?
"Tsk, I don't care who the fuck he is," she said. "He's going to pay for sending Goliath to the moon."
In response to what happened to her friend, Ghostness turned to Aiden. No matter who this man thought he was...
She would break him from the inside by possessing his body.
But before she did that, hell, shit, Einstein had already fled the scene.
Eva watched as Ghostness possessed Aiden, but still, the man kept walking towards the orphanage home.
But there was no one else in it. Who could Aiden possibly want inside? As far as she knew, Eagle Eye had long escaped with the boy.
"Well, now that you've managed to get inside my head, why don't I show you a few things in it," Aiden smiled.
Ghostness was made to regret her action. Inside Aiden's head, the former screamed as she was forced to experience the mental pain inside it.
No one told her before she came outside and still screamed while holding her head. "Make it stop!!!" she begged pathetically.
Eva, who had experienced everything from the sky, couldn't believe her eyes.
She brought herself down to see what Aiden was up to.
After reaching the orphanage home, the latter squatted beside the nanny.
"Because of you, the boy has been taken," he accused her.
The nanny coughed, still struggling from the pain in her torso where Goliath had grabbed her.
But she couldn't resist, because Aiden now picked her up the same way.
Eva stood outside, watching the horrifying scene. She couldn't believe her eyes; Aiden was no hero. Hell, he cracked the nanny's neck.
He killed her.
The hero organization just found itself the biggest parasite.
