One of the many magical cards that Alan has sent out is zooming through the worlds, jumping through portals, flying around mountains, oceans, monsters, and as it passes through another portal, it enters a frantic ocean, full of disastrous sea monsters. The card opens up another portal, zipping into it, as it barely escapes being eaten by a sea monster. As it exits the portal, the card arrives in front of a majestic, beautifully architected castle of stone.
As it arrives, floating in front of the castle, it glides every so gently through one of the windows, at the top of the castle, descending on to a so veryyyy roundtable.
Just as the card lands on the roundtable, the doors to the room open and 4 men walk through the door.
Walking in a 2-2 formation, in the back left row, is a rugged and middle aged man named Lancelot, he dawns an extremely sturdy black and gray armor set, on his back is a brilliant black lance, and he moves with extreme power.
To the right of Lancelot, is a youthful man named Galahad, he wears a white and gold armor set, with much lighter plating compared to Lancelot's armor, he has a white sheath with a sword, that has a hilt of holy engravings on his hip, and his aura is full of purity.
The man in front of Lancelot, is an old man named Merlin, who has a flowing beard of gray, a head of grey scraggy hair with a gray mage hat, he wears very loose gray clothing almost like table cloth, yet carries a wooden staff that emits immense magical ability, the old man emits a wise aura and oozes extremely powerful magical abilities.
The final person is a youthful man with an absolute divine radiance to him, named Arthur, he is full of regal might, wearing light but extremely sturdy sliver armor with hints of gold, he carries a sword of immense holy power, while dawning a golden crown that speaks to his royal status, and he moves with power yet grace for the world.
Merlin: "Arthur we must not let the enemy forces approach us anymore, we must the defend the southern stronghold, they will need reinforcements."
Arthur: "You are correct Merlin, we will send reinforcements as quick as we can, who do you think we should send, Lancelot or Galahad?"
Merlin looks at both of them and says: "Lancelot should go."
Lancelot looks at both of them and nods, and says: "I shall head out with my knights after we have some lunch."
All four of them nod and Arthur asks: "What should we have for …"
Before he can even get the chance to say lunch, the card that landed on the table flashes a brilliant light and words begin to inscribe mid air:
"You and your cards have been chosen by fate to have this wonderful opportunity to dine at Wander, a cross dimensional restaurant serving the best food across all worlds, would you like to take this chance to wander into a new world and dine with us?" and below this passage there are 2 words, "Yes" and "No".
The moment the flash went off, Lancelot and Galahad both unsheathed their weapons, summoned their binders, and jumped in front of Arthur to defend him.
Merlin at the same time, activated his staff and binder, and conjured up magical energy pointing at the flash of light.
Arthur calmly backs up, unsheathed his holy weapon and summoned his binder, each of their hands in position to summon their strongest cards.
As they have known each other for a very long, fought countless battles together, they all understood they need to access the situation after the flash and to remain guarded but not attack. As they put up their guard, the flash dies down, the words start inscribing in the air and as they read the words they are less on guard but still very careful.
Merlin: "This does not seem like an enemy attack but how did this card get past our detection and barriers we have around the castle?"
Arthur: "That is a question for another time, probably for the owner of this card, but it does not seem to be an attack but could still be a trap so let us be careful"
Galahad: "Well … this seems like a weirdly good time for this to happen, we were about to just go for lunch, maybe this is truly a fated encounter" (as Galahad lowers his weapon)
Lancelot: "Galahad might be right, if someone has the power to go through our barriers undetected they would have already tried to harm us but they did not"
Merlin, signs loudly, puts his weapon down and strokes his beard: "So many complications, so many things to worry about, well this may be a fun time or a miserable time, lets take a vote, who is open to exploring this new fated encounter?"
Before anyone can vote, Arthur says: "Might be better to send our summons to scout the area, what does everyone think of doing that first?"
Everyone nods in agreement, right now each of them have a big binder floating gently to the left of their person's, as they move their hand over to their binder, the binder auto magically flips to the page with the desired card. Then as they glide their hand over to their binders, hovering their hand over their binder, a card emerges out of its card slot, hovering near the user's hand, and each of the knights then throw their card in their own ways to summon their chosen cards.
Lancelot slides his hand over his binder, his binder flashes black as a black card emerges, then he grabs the card in between his fingers, then throws the card at his feet, as he jumps back a couple of feet, and yells: "I SUMMON DOUBLE-SHIELED KNIGHT!!".
As the card is about to hit the floor, the card expands, patterns for the Double Shielded Knight appear as a portal emerges, then out of the portal, a massive 12 foot tall humanoid knight clad in deep black armor appears, both of the knight's arms are massive shields, each shield has a crevice on the side, allowing the 2 shields to be linked together to become 1 massive shield.
Galahad's binder flashes a pure white light, a pure white card emerges, grabbing it with the tips of his fingers, throwing the card to his side and yells: "I SUMMON BLINDED KNIGHT!!". The card expands into a portal just as its about to touch the floor, a white light flashes, the pattern for the Blinded Knight appears and out of the portal, comes a slender, 6 foot tall knight in very light white armor with bandages covering his eyes, with 2 steel swords with steel sheathes at his hip.
Merlin's binder flashes a murky gray light and he yells: "I SUMMON KNOWLEDGE MAGE!!", and the card floats in front of Merlin, flashes a gray light, then expands into a portal, as the pattern for a Wizard appears and out comes a stumpy 5 foot tall wizard in yellow drapes, with circle glasses and a tome in hand.
Arthur's binder flashes a pure white light, he grabs the card that floats out of his binder, throwing it to his side as he yells: "I SUMMON REGAL BLINDED KNIGHT!!", and just as the card is about to touch the floor, it expands into a portal, flashes a white light with a Regal Blinded Knight pattern, then out the portal, emerges a slender 6 foot tall knight in very light white armor, at his hip is 1 steel sword, and covering the eyes are bandages with special runes etched in gold.
When the summons finish emerging they all proudly proclaim: "At your service!"
Arthur orders: "You all, will go scout whatever is through this portal and report back to us what you see, we will relay commands as the situation progresses, now shall we accept this invitation and see what this Wander is?"
All summons respond: "Yes Sire!"
Merlin quietly casts a spell on the Knowledge Mage, and then a projection of the Knowledge Mage's vision appears in front of everyone, allowing them to see and hear anything that the Knowledge Mage can see and hear.
With everyone prepared, Arthur walks up to the text and presses the floating "Yes".
The moment the "Yes" is pressed, the text disappears, then a portal begins to emerge in replacement, and once the portal has been established, all the summons enter the portal in formation, with the Double Shielded Knight in the front, the 2 Blinded Knights just behind the Double Shielded Knight, and the Knowledge Mage at the back, all on guard.
At the same time, in the back of Wander, Alan is preparing vegetables, meats, other ingredients, sorting and storing them in his inventory. Alan is summoning countless portals, and moving at tremendous speeds from the chopping to cooking and there are tens if not hundreds of things being diced, and prepared at the same time.
On Floor 1, in the dining room, a flurry of chairs, tables, table clothes and silverware are being arranged beautifully. The moment the arrangements have been made, all the flurrying comes to a stop and we see a beautiful maid with jet black hair, a gorgeous and charming face, with a slender build, her maid uniform filled with beautiful trinkets, with a name tag above her right chest, and it reads Mei. Near the feet of Mei are 14 little bipedal mice, that look like stuffed animals, each with their own unique styles, wearing a stylized maid or butler uniform and are all very adorable.
The mice are part of the same family, their family name is Micelocke; in this family, there are 2 grandparents, they had 3 kids, 1 son and 2 daughters, each of those children then has a partner of their own, and they each have 2 kids, one has 1 girl, 1 boy, another has 2 girls, and the last one has 2 boys.
As they wrap up their preparations, they all gather at the front of house, looking into the dining room, the grandma mouse, whose name tag says Katrina, says to Mei: "We have finished setting up as Master Alan desired, I think he would be happy with this, what do you think Mei?"
Mei nods and says: "I do think Master Alan would be pleased with this, shall we call Master Alan and have him confirm we are good to start welcoming in guests?"
All the Micelockes nod their cute little heads.
Mei then telepathically talks to Alan and says: "We have finished setting up Floor 1, would you like to check if our preparations are good, Master Alan?"
Right when Mei finishes sending the message, a portal appears right next to Mei and Alan steps right through, takes a look around and says to everyone in the room: "This looks great, all of you did a great job!"
As he gives his praise to everyone with a big smile on his face, he proceeds to pat everyone on the head. Mei gets shy from this, the older Micelockes smile proudly, all the younger Micelockes are jumping up and down in joy, running up Alan's arms and dancing happily around his shoulder and head.
Alan with a big smile on his face, says: "This looks perfect, from now you all can continue to setup like this and feel free to adjust things if we get feedback or if you get inspired, but this is great. Lets open up the restaurant to all the worlds, my cards seem to have started to land in places and we should have a couple of guests coming in soon, so lets welcome them in and have a good service!!"
Everyone nods to Alan, and all the younger Micelockes jump off of his body and scurry back to their stations, Alan then makes another portal and walks into it appearing back at the kitchen.
Just as Alan enters his portal, the doors to the front of house open and everyone turns and says: "Welcome to Wander!" with a pleasant smile on their face.
