Since we are discussing Support System Martial Souls, we must mention Food System Martial Souls.
Previously, it was mentioned that some people wanted to kick Curse System Martial Souls out of the support category and instead turn Food System Martial Souls into a sub-category of the Support System.

Food System Martial Souls remain an independent category and have not been classified under the Support System.
However, this particular point is somewhat complex.
Unlike the question of whether Curse System Martial Souls can be classified as Control System Martial Souls—where there are ample reasons to prove a clear distinction between the two, allowing for a definitive conclusion—
There is immense controversy regarding whether Food System Martial Souls should be a sub-category of the Support System, standing alongside the Augmentation, Healing, and Curse branches.
The fact that there is immense controversy while the proposal was simultaneously rejected seems contradictory.
Indeed, the reality is just as contradictory.
In the first impression of the vast majority of people in the soul master world, Food System Soul Masters produce food with various effects through their Martial Souls and soul skills. Therefore, Food System Martial Souls clearly have a supportive function.
After all, if they cannot play a direct role in combat, then their role is naturally one of support.
Although many Food System Soul Masters have low cultivation levels and the food they produce often lacks remarkable effects, they universally possess the ability to recover physical strength and alleviate hunger.
Logistics and supplies are, in themselves, a form of support.
Furthermore, most of the food they produce has a certain degree of effectiveness in healing external injuries. While Food System Soul Masters may not excel at providing direct combat support, they are incomparable to Support System Soul Masters when it comes to logistics.

Beyond this, the most peculiar aspect of the Food System Martial Soul is that its origin stability appears extremely weak while simultaneously appearing extremely strong.
This unique and strange characteristic is entirely different from the traits of Combat or Support System Martial Souls.
To say the origin of a Food System Martial Soul is extremely weak is because no Food System Martial Soul is born with special powers. At most, some food souls have an inherent ability to sate hunger, but that is a basic property of food and cannot be considered a "special power."
Therefore, a Food System Soul Master can only produce food with special powers after absorbing a soul ring and obtaining a soul skill.
By channeling the soul ring and activating the skill, they manifest that power. It is at this point that one could say the stability of the Food System Martial Soul's origin is extremely weak.
This is because when a Food System Soul Master absorbs the soul ring of any soul beast, the process of the Martial Soul origin combining with the ring's power to birth a soul skill is clearly dominated by the soul ring's influence.
This is the exact opposite of a Support System Martial Soul; the Food System soul skill's effect is determined entirely by the soul ring rather than the Martial Soul itself.
Yet, while the Food System Martial Soul's origin stability is called weak, it also shows a strong side. When a Food System Soul Master absorbs a soul ring to strengthen their origin, they are no longer dominated by the soul ring. It is not a fusion, but rather a state of "devouring."
The Martial Soul origin strengthens itself based on its own foundation without being influenced by the soul ring—even if the soul itself was born as a common object without inherent special power.
This point is strange to the extreme and completely defies common logic.
After all, the "devouring" state of a Support System Martial Soul during this process can be explained by the fact that the soul itself possesses its own special power, allowing the origin to strengthen based on that foundation.
However, Food System Martial Souls are inherently ordinary souls with no special power, yet they remain unaffected by the soul ring during the strengthening process. They do not undergo an "evolution" like the weak souls among Combat Martial Souls.
Instead, they strengthen based on their innate, ordinary characteristics.
It is truly bizarre.
