The mansion looked the same the next day. Same corridors, same silence, same disciplined movement of servants. But inside Kyle Voldi Godo, everything had changed.
He could no longer ignore Neuro.
Not as a mystery.
But as a problem.
Kyle's Perspective
Kyle sat in the training area for children, trying to focus on mana control. But his mind kept drifting back to the same image: Neuro lying silently in his room, doing nothing, yet still treated differently by everyone.
"Why?" he thought.
"I train every day… I struggle… I try to become stronger."
He clenched his fists.
"And yet… just his existence makes them look at him instead of me."
It made no sense to him.
But the feeling was real.
Inside the Mansion
Neuro remained the same.
Silent.
Still.
Observing.
Not reacting to anything around him.
Elena watched him occasionally, still unable to understand what she was seeing. There was something about him that felt beyond his age, beyond explanation.
Kyle Returns Again
Later that day, Kyle could not hold back.
He stood up and walked directly toward Neuro's room.
This time, faster.
More determined.
Not to observe.
But to confront.
He entered without knocking.
Elena was inside, surprised by his sudden arrival.
"Kyle… I told you not to come like this."
But he didn't listen.
His eyes were locked on Neuro.
Neuro lay as usual, staring at the ceiling.
Calm.
Unbothered.
Kyle stepped forward.
"You…"
Neuro slowly turned his gaze toward him.
Kyle felt it again.
That same feeling.
Being insignificant.
"Why does everyone treat you differently?" Kyle said, voice tense.
"You don't do anything."
"You just lie there."
"And yet… they care about you."
Silence.
Elena said firmly, "Kyle, stop."
But he raised his voice:
"No!"
"I train every day! I suffer! I try to get stronger!"
"So why him?"
At that moment, something inside Kyle formed.
Not full hatred yet.
But the beginning of it.
A seed born from comparison.
Neuro finally shifted his gaze slightly.
Not interest.
Just observation.
Inside his mind:
"Weak… but noisy."
He didn't say it aloud.
But Kyle felt it.
That cold evaluation.
Kyle stepped back unconsciously, then clenched his fists tightly.
"Stop looking at me like that…"
Neuro looked away again, as if nothing had happened.
And in that moment, Kyle understood one thing.
Neuro didn't see him at all.
He turned and left the room quickly.
No words.
But his expression had changed.
More tense.
More conflicted.
Elena sighed softly.
"This will only get worse…"
Neuro remained silent.
Unmoved.
But inside the mansion…
Something had begun to shift.
Slowly.
But clearly.
