What happened before meant nothing to Neuro. A child had entered the room, looked at him, then left. For him, it was just a passing moment with no importance. But inside the Voldi Godo mansion, nothing like that was ever truly ignored.
A full day passed in silence. Everything remained the same on the surface, but inside the mind of Kyle Voldi Godo, nothing was calm.
Kyle's Perspective
Kyle was six years old, but within the family, he was considered part of the "promising generation." From a young age, he had been told that he must become strong, that he must not fall behind others.
But there was something that bothered him more and more… that child.
Neuro.
He didn't understand him.
And that alone irritated him more than anything else.
How could a child, barely born, be treated as something special?
Why did the adults react differently when his name was mentioned?
Why did he feel like he didn't belong to the same world?
Inside Kyle's chest, a strange feeling kept growing every time he thought about Neuro.
Not fear.
But something closer to frustration.
As if Neuro's existence itself made him feel smaller.
The Second Visit
The next day, Kyle entered Neuro's room again.
This time, he did not hesitate.
He did not stop at the door.
He walked straight in.
Elena was there, and she immediately said firmly, "I told you not to enter without reason."
But Kyle ignored her. His eyes were fixed only on Neuro.
"I have a reason."
He stepped closer until he stood near the bed.
Neuro opened his eyes slowly.
He looked at Kyle directly.
The same calm gaze. The same silence.
Kyle felt something strange again, but ignored it.
He said, "Everyone keeps talking about you… they say you're strange."
No response.
No reaction.
Elena stepped forward, "Leave now."
But Kyle raised his hand slightly. "Wait."
He turned back to Neuro and said, "Why are you like this?"
Not curiosity anymore.
Something closer to challenge.
But the silence continued.
And that silence irritated him more than anything else.
He didn't want an answer.
He wanted a reaction.
Inside Kyle, something began to change.
It was no longer just curiosity.
It was jealousy.
The feeling of being ignored while someone else, who did nothing, was acknowledged.
Kyle gathered his mana slightly.
A weak pressure spread in the room, only at Stage 1 Beginner.
Elena reacted immediately, "Stop!"
But Kyle didn't stop. He kept watching Neuro.
Yet Neuro did not move.
Not even slightly.
No reaction.
No resistance.
Only silence.
And that silence broke something inside Kyle.
He stepped back unconsciously.
Then whispered, "This… is not normal."
Elena grabbed him firmly, "Leave."
This time, he obeyed.
He left the room without resistance.
But inside him, something had already changed.
