Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 MVP

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Ethan kept firing his gun, his accuracy relying entirely on luck.

However, his goal was never precision—it was simply to attract the enemy's attention and relieve pressure on Tony.

And it worked. A sudden additional shooter on the battlefield immediately drew the terrorists' focus.

Several of them turned their guns toward Ethan.

"Watch out! Get down!"

Tony Stark was shocked and furious—but it was too late. He could only watch helplessly.

But at that moment—

Tony's vision went dark.

A blue vortex suddenly appeared in front of Ethan.

"What is that…?"

The swirling vortex expanded and swallowed all incoming bullets.

The entire battlefield froze.

Everyone stopped firing.

Silence fell instantly.

"Rimuru?"

Yinsen, who had just been saved, stared in shock at Rimuru standing in front of him.

Rimuru's hand had transformed into a blue vortex that absorbed every bullet.

Earlier, Tony and Yinsen had assumed Rimuru's ability was something like stealth or concealment.

They never imagined—he could absorb bullets.

Rimuru ignored Ethan's shock and moved immediately toward the high ground where a heavy machine gun was stationed.

If the machine gun was destroyed, the rest of the firepower would be nothing but scratching an armored suit.

"Fire!"

"Kill that monster!"

The terrorists understood his intention clearly.

With the heavy machine gun still active, they were at a disadvantage.

If it was taken out, they were finished.

A rain of bullets poured toward Rimuru.

But to everyone's shock—

He dodged them all.

Effortlessly.

And strangely—almost stylishly.

It looked like something straight out of a movie.

But this was real.

"Fire! Don't stop firing!"

The gunner went all out.

But the next moment—

He froze.

His hands were empty.

His weapon was gone.

He slowly looked up.

And saw Rimuru's eyes—like blood-colored gemstones.

Cold. Emotionless.

Like the gaze of a reaper.

Before he could react—

Darkness swallowed him.

"Rocket launchers! Use rockets!"

"Bullets don't work on her—she's a demon!"

"Please, don't kill me!"

Panic spread across the battlefield.

Within moments, the terrorists were completely overwhelmed and terrified.

Ethan was stunned.

Was this even possible?

Tony was speechless.

From the moment Rimuru revealed his true power to the end of the battle—it took less than a minute.

Every movement was precise, efficient, and deadly.

No wasted motion.

It was like a perfectly executed performance.

Who exactly is Rimuru?!

Rimuru Tempest

Tony's curiosity grew endlessly.

But one thing was certain—they had won.

After the "auto-combat mode" ended, the three regrouped.

Ethan looked at Rimuru with complicated emotions.

"I'm sorry… I told you not to stain your hands with blood, but I didn't take it seriously."

From what he had just seen, Rimuru was no inexperienced child—he had clearly fought countless battles.

Rimuru shook his head.

"Ethan, you were right. Those criminals didn't deserve my hands to be stained. So far… I haven't killed anyone."

Tony and Ethan both gave him a silent side-eye.

After what we just saw… who would believe that?

Tony then spoke seriously.

"Ethan, little Rimuru—you should leave the valley first. I'm going to destroy all the weapons here."

His eyes turned cold as he looked at the Stark-branded weapons in the valley.

As a weapons manufacturer, Tony had always justified his work with "weapons for peace."

But after being kidnapped and seeing reality firsthand—his beliefs were shaken.

These weapons could never fall into terrorist hands again.

Soon after Rimuru and Ethan left the valley—

The entire area was engulfed in flames.

Tony escaped using the suit's limited flight capability.

The desert was scorching hot.

Ethan and Tony were soon dehydrated and exhausted.

But Rimuru showed no discomfort at all, as if walking in a cool breeze.

An hour later—

The sound of helicopter rotors echoed overhead.

Tony excitedly recognized it.

A U.S. military helicopter.

His nightmare was finally over.

A dark-skinned officer jumped out of the helicopter.

James Rhodes.

"Was the ride comfortable?"

Tony laughed awkwardly.

"Next time, you can ride with me, okay?"

Rhodes smiled but remained serious.

"Who are they?"

He looked at Ethan and Rimuru.

Ethan looked ordinary.

But Rimuru stood out completely—blue hair, golden eyes, almost unreal.

Tony hesitated.

"They're my saviors. I trust them completely."

Then he added:

"Now, Rhodes… are you planning to interrogate us in the middle of the desert?"

Rhodes sighed.

He wanted answers—but now wasn't the time.

Soon, a private military aircraft arrived.

The three of them boarded it.

Their destination: New York.
