Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 Facing the Chaotic Cloak

Chapter 8 Facing the Chaotic Cloak

After his initial surprise, Tang San left, feeling that he needed to work even harder.

After doing push-ups, Ye Yu went to climb.

At this time, Old Jack prepared breakfast and then packed his things to head to Nottingham. As he left the village and walked along the mountain path, he saw a huge rock moving upwards on a cliff face, which startled him.

Old Jack took a closer look, his eyes widened, and his pupils contracted.

"It's...it's Xiaoyu..."

Old Jack rubbed his eyes, and after a closer look, he realized that the boulder was being carried on the back of a small figure. The child carrying the boulder was Xiao Yu!

Old Jack looked at Ye Yu, who was already covered in sweat, his clothes soaked through, and he was climbing upwards with a determined expression.

Seeing this small body carrying such a huge boulder, Old Jack felt a lump in his throat and his heart ached. Xiao Yu was only six years old; although her body was different from others, she was pushing herself too hard.

"Xiaoyu, do you really want to become a powerful Soul Master...?"

Old Jack wiped away the tears from the corners of his eyes, did not go up to stop him, and silently left.

Old Jack thought firmly, "I must fight for another spot."

...

After climbing back and forth once, Ye Yu found a larger waterfall nearby, a hundred meters high, with a more rapid and powerful current.

Standing beneath the waterfall, Ye Yu felt an even greater force than that of the boulders.

"From now on, after you finish your gravity training, come here to hone your skills."

The previous waterfalls no longer served their purpose of training me, but this one is just right—it will put pressure on me. Pressure is what drives motivation and leads to improvement.

Two hours later, Ye Yu left. With his soul power awakened, his daily training time increased from four hours to ten hours a day.

Anyone else would have been unable to withstand it, but Ye Yu's terrifying physique seemed to make him feel no fatigue. After finishing his meal and resting for a while, he continued.

Even with high-intensity, long-duration exercise, your body won't feel sore the next day, so you can continue doing it day after day without worrying about any potential health problems.

When Ye Yu got home, he saw that the food was ready on the table, along with a small note written by Old Jack: "Xiao Yu, I'm going to Nottingham City. I'll be back this afternoon."

Ye Yu put away the note, sat down to eat, and mentally formulated a daily exercise plan.

In the morning, do 1,000 push-ups with a boulder on your back, 1,000 push-ups with one hand, and 1,000 push-ups with two fingers. Then do 1,000 squats and climb a cliff face back and forth. After that, practice horse stance at a waterfall for an hour and do 1,000 full-power jumps.

After breakfast, we continued at noon, practicing weighted punches and kicks with all four limbs. In the afternoon, we found a large mountain as our target and punched it to build strength.

At night, we would go to the bottom of the river, dozens of meters deep, and practice our martial arts against the water pressure.

Ye Yu thought this plan was feasible, and that the number of repetitions could be increased as his physical condition improved.

After finishing his meal, Ye Yu went to the blacksmith's shop.

As we approached, we heard a series of knocking sounds in the distance.

Once inside, Tang San was holding a disproportionately large iron hammer, striking a red-hot iron block on a furnace.

Seeing Ye Yu enter, Tang San stopped and asked, "Brother Yu, what brings you here?"

Ye Yu put down the large bag of rice he had brought and asked, "Do you have any heavy iron? I need a hundred yuan; I'll trade this bag of rice for it."

Tang Hao, who was standing to the side, took a sip of wine and said, "Yes, but what do you need a hundred pieces of heavy iron for?"

"Weight training," Ye Yu said bluntly, instructing, "You need the densest kind of heavy iron, at least twenty kilograms per piece."

Upon hearing this, Tang Hao was taken aback.

Tang San recalled what had happened that morning and wasn't too surprised.

"Weighted training? Strapped to the limbs?"

"Mm." Ye Yu nodded.

Tang Hao warned, "One hundred pieces of 20-kilogram heavy iron add up to four thousand kilograms, or two tons. Twenty-five pieces on each hand and leg, that's one thousand kilograms. Putting aside whether your limbs can withstand it, you're still young, don't push yourself so hard, be careful not to injure your body and leave permanent injuries."

Ye Yu said confidently, "I can do it."

Tang Hao stopped trying to persuade him and nodded: "Alright, I'll create it for you today."

Tang San said, "Dad, let me help you too."

Tang Hao nodded, and Tang San began to search for heavy iron, hammer it to remove impurities, reduce the size of the heavy iron, and forge it into the iron with the highest density.

Tang San swung the iron hammer with tremendous force. However, Tang Hao quickly said, "Stop for now. You can't finish in a day if you keep hammering like this."

Tang Hao swung the hammer while instructing, "The power doesn't start from the waist, but from the muscles of the two calves. The calves generate power first, then the thighs, waist, back, and arms, all in one smooth motion."

Tang Hao gripped the hammer tightly with both hands, his feet firmly planted on the ground, and his body half-turned. His calves tensed, and using his waist as a pivot, he resembled a tiger poised to pounce.

Whew!!

The hammer swung, whistling through the air. It slammed heavily onto the iron block, the sound deafening, the ripples of force sending shivers through the entire house. The red-hot iron block was dented, a third of it now dented.

Tang San watched all this with a look of astonishment in his eyes; such immense power.

Tang San began to follow suit, circulating his Mysterious Heaven Skill, exerting force in his calves, and the power instantly burst forth from his calves and spread. As he rotated his waist, he felt the power continuously rising upwards and becoming stronger and stronger.

When the power surged into my arm, I felt an unprecedented surge of strength.

when! ! !

The hammer struck the iron block with precision, producing a deafening roar that shook the entire room slightly.

However, the recoil was also great. Tang San was shaken back a step, and the iron hammer bounced back, making his arms go numb.

Tang San activated his Mysterious Heaven Skill, and the numbness gradually disappeared.

Tang San discovered that doing this did indeed increase his power, and the effect was obvious.

However, the recoil force is also very strong, which can make the body unstable, not to mention that hitting the iron block is a continuous and uninterrupted process.

Tang Hao continued instructing Tang San. He slammed down with his hammer, and as the powerful impact rebounded, he suddenly spun around, using his calves to propel the rebounding hammer upwards. With a deafening crash, it slammed into the iron block, then repeatedly…

Seeing this perfect coordination, Tang San's eyes lit up. It seemed simple, but it was actually quite complex, requiring precise timing. Just as the hammer was about to reach its highest point, he spun his body, completing a full rotation before slamming it down again.

Tang Hao struck the iron block thirty-six times without stopping, turning it into a flat disc. After finishing, he rotated the hammer three times with both hands to dissipate the force before putting the hammer away and standing up.

After Tang San finished reading, he understood.

"Using someone's strength against them, but to do it as smoothly as Dad does, it will take some time."

Tang Hao nodded: "It's impossible to master something after just one viewing; practice makes perfect."

Seeing all this, Ye Yu knew that this was the Chaotic Cloak Hammer Technique.

As Tang San prepared to begin forging, Tang Hao said, "Little San, use the method I just taught you. Swing the hammer with all your might to smash Xiao Yu. If he can withstand it, I'll prepare a hundred pieces of heavy iron for him. If he can't, there's no need to prepare anything; it won't help him and will only harm him."

Tang San nodded and looked at Ye Yu, asking for his opinion: "Brother Yu, what do you think?"

Ye Yu readily agreed, nodding directly: "Of course, come on!"
