Chapter 7 - Preparing to go to Kuroinu

Saeko: What's happening?

[Olga]: I'm ashamed to say this… but I was defeated and captured by my enemy, Vault… along with that filthy group of ogres.

Saeko: I-I'm in class right now… but if necessary, I can skip and come help.

[Olga]: I appreciate it, Saeko… but no offense… I don't think you'd be able to help in my situation.

Saeko: …You're right. Even though I'd love to fight the ogres you mentioned… I'm not sure I could defeat even one, let alone an army. I'm sorry, Miss Olga…

Saeko: But what about Miss Mitsuri? She's a demon slayer. Her strength shouldn't be low.

Miko: Hmm… she's probably busy right now… maybe fighting demons?

Saeko: Hey, Miko, you're online? Too bad you're also from a normal world… I'm sorry, Miss Olga, for not being able to help.

Miko: Wait! My boyfriend will go help.

Saeko: Eh? Reik? No offense, but… isn't your boyfriend just an exorcist?

Miko: Hehe, it's fine… trust me, he's really strong.

[Olga]: I'm sorry for troubling you all with my problems…

Miko: N-No, it's okay… after all, we're like a family now, right?

[Olga]: Thank you…

[Olga]: …Thank you… but are you sure your boyfriend can handle this? Believe me… there are many of them.

Miko hesitated.

She knew Reik was strong…

But she didn't know his limits.

[Olga]: I don't know how strong Reik is… but I should clarify that the enemy has magic, a large army, monsters, beasts… and even demi-humans among their ranks.

As soon as Miko read that message, panic set in.

She had imagined something simpler—just a group of villains with a few ogres, like in manga.

Quickly, she turned toward Reik—

But before she could speak, he stopped her.

"It's fine… trust me," Reik said calmly.

'Even the Ogre fought in a war alone and won. There's no way I'd be worse than that… tch, I just need to be careful with the mages,' he thought confidently.

Then he typed:

[Reik]: Don't worry. This will be easy. I just hope that army is strong enough to keep me from getting bored.

[Olga]: …Thank you…

Even though she was still unsure…

This was her only hope.

Reik quickly changed into something more casual.

A simple white shirt, blue jeans… and a pair of sunglasses hanging from his collar.

He hugged the girls one by one—

And finally, Miko.

Then he opened the chat again.

Just as he was about to type—

"Wait."

Reik looked at Miko, confused.

"What is it?"

"Is that it…? Aren't you going to prepare more? Like… I don't know… bring a weapon or something?"

Reik smiled softly.

"Darling…"

He put on his sunglasses.

"I am the weapon."

[A request has been sent to teleport to your world:

[Accept] / [Decline]]

But then, Reik paused and typed again:

[Reik]: Olga, before you accept—pretend you're casting a summoning spell. That way, no one will suspect my sudden appearance.

[Olga]: That's a good idea…

[Olga]: Thank you. Truly.

[Reik]: I already told you—it's no problem.

Reik turned to the girls and gave them a confident smile.

"Well then… I'm going to stretch a bit. I'll be back."

Olga and Chloe now stood in the throne room, facing Vault, who sat arrogantly upon the throne. Beside him stood his second-in-command—the mage Kin.

Chloe was forced to kneel.

Olga followed… but unlike her, she silently gathered the last remnants of her magic, preparing to break free—

And to allow Reik to enter this world.

"So… why have you summoned me, human?" Olga asked coldly.

Vault frowned at her tone.

"You'd better start speaking more politely, Olga Discordia… former queen," he replied with irritation. "Right now, I control the nation you once ruled."

Despite her situation, anger flickered in Olga's eyes.

But before she could respond, Vault continued, his voice dripping with arrogance:

"My men have yet to receive their reward. After I take your first time… they'll enjoy every part of your body. Hehehe…"

Olga didn't react.

Her attention was elsewhere.

In the chat.

Reik had already told her he was ready—just waiting for her permission to arrive.

She glanced back at Vault.

That disgusting smile…

It made her want to vomit.

Without hesitation, she accepted Reik's request.

At the same time, she turned her gaze forward and silently cast a spell to break her chains.

Kin, who had remained silent until now, immediately noticed.

"Stop her!" he shouted.

The chains shattered.

Vault and his men rushed toward her—

Too late.

Now free, Olga unleashed a powerful wind spell, forcing them back.

And then—

She raised her voice.

"I summon you… warrior… the warrior from another world! Answer my call!"

Her voice echoed throughout the throne room.

The words she spoke sounded like an unknown incantation—something no one present had ever heard before.

Even Kin was stunned.

A violent explosion shook the entire hall.

"Your Majesty!" Chloe cried out in alarm as the shockwave sent nearby soldiers flying.

On the other side, Vault and his men struggled to advance against the raging wind.

"Damned woman! Kin! Why isn't that cursed collar working?!" Vault roared.

"Calm down, Vault-sama," Kin replied, narrowing his eyes. "The collar is functioning perfectly. She simply used all her remaining power to suppress it… temporarily."

Though he sounded composed, his gaze remained sharp.

Cautious.

When Olga's "chant" ended, everyone in the room braced themselves, expecting something to happen.

But…

Nothing did.

For the first time—

Panic appeared on Olga's face.

Chloe, who had felt a moment of hope, immediately stepped in front of her, raising her guard.

She thought the spell had failed.

Vault and his men thought the same.

Only Olga knew the truth.

'It wasn't a real spell…'

Her heart began to race.

'Did something go wrong?'

Just as she was about to check the chat—

Vault's laughter echoed through the hall.

"Hahaha… looks like you've run out of tricks," he sneered, rising slowly from his throne.

His eyes burned with lust.

"Now you're finally mine, Olga… I'll make sure to enjoy every part of you."
