I woke up by 4:30am because today was my dad's wedding. I went to take my morning bathand then did my skincare. I wore a Jean dress which I loved. I made my bed and arranged my room before I came out of my room. I came downstairs and saw the decorators doing decorations in the house. There were flowers everywhere and balloons which looked very beautiful.
I decided to go to the hotel where my dad and his fiancee were staying before the wedding. It was a resort in the beach where the wedding was going to take place. I called Billy on my phone to meet me at my house. She came after ten minutes with her bag which was big because it contains which the dress she'll wear for the wedding. The wedding is going to be two days. Today's is for the white wedding. Then tomorrow was the Nigerian traditional wedding.
"You ready Ladies" Kelvin said as he parked right beside us.He looked like a psycho while driving because he wore a stupid shirt. I was not able to see his trousers well. Kelvin had a style of dressing which I didn't like and I wondered why people like his fashion sense so much when it's not that attractive.
I and Billy entered the backseat and sat down. Of course we are supposed to sit down.
"I hope I'm driving smoothly" Kelvin asked
"Yes" Billy answered.
"Yes but you are not even of age, why are you driving. What if the police catches you" I asked looking curious.
"I look older than my age and I have a real but fake driver's license" He said
"What do you mean by that?You law breaker.Does your mum know about this because I know this is not your mum's car" I said looking confused.
" Okay let me tell you a story. I was..." Kelvin was about to begin a story but I interrupted him.
"No no no. Please you can tell me when the wedding is over" I said because I know how he usually tells stories like my dad. Boring and uninteresting.
He drove till we got to the hotel which was really nice. We came out of the car and went straight to our room which was right beside the bride's and her bridesmaids rooms.
"Let's get ready for the wedding"
We put on our dress and and did our makeup. I finished in 40 minutes while Billy took 1 hour. I wore a purple sleeveless dress which was about knee length or shorter. Billy dress was similar. Hers was just more fitted and shorter. She looked so gorgeous in the dress. We came out of our rooms of our room and went to where the bride was getting ready.
We entered the room and saw her on the dress with her makeup fully done. She looked so enchanting in that wedding dress.
Then someone knocked
"Who's there" My dad's fiancee said.
"It's me mum. Can I enter please" Kelvin spoke from outside the room. Miss Stones looked around checking if anyone is not covered well.
"Yes, you can enter" She said.
Kelvin entered into the room wearing a purple suit which looked cute on him.
"Mum, the wedding starts in 30 minutes. You look stunning by the way" Kelvin said.
He was about to leave when Miss Stones said
"Kira, why don't you go with him to see how everything is going. Your friend should go with you too"
"Okay" I said as I went out of the room with Billy and Kelvin.
We came out of the room and I closed the door.
"You look gorgeous Kira" Kelvin complemented me with a weird look. I smiled at him and said
"You too"
"What about me" Billy said looking offended.
"Yes, you also look good" Kelvin said .
Billy looked at me but I said
"I already complemented your dress. Don't look at me"I said already knowing what's on her mind.
We went to the beach side when I saw the decorations. It was so cute and pretty.
"You outdid yourself with this decorations" I said to Kelvin.
When it was 5:30pm the wedding started.
